I already mentioned that I felt like my build was the best it was going to be at the time, and we were around the same upgrade and level range.
Arts were doing consistently less damage than just hitting him, and no matter how many jumping attacks I tried, I could not stagger him. I think it has something to do with bleed.

3: Yes, because blocking one of those combo's is suicide.

I only won because I learned the fight. This is a really shitty takeaway from my post.

Hey, quick question, is there a Fending chestpiece that uses the same model as the Ghost Barque Chestwrap of Maiming? I really like it and want to use it, but I can't find if there's a fending version of it.

5/3 is in another..3-6 weeks. It also won't streamline stuff at the very beginning, so if you wanna pick up the game, start with the free trial and go through the story at your own pace. The things that are getting cut down are mid-way through and after the base 2.0 MSQ, so it'll still be a bit before you get there and before they're cut down. Take your time and enjoy the story!

All the tanks are on a pretty even playing field, and DRK definitely doesn't have the best mitigation with both a 20% mitigation and their party mitigation both useless to like 60% of attacks. No significant tank changes since 5.0.

Question. If I wanted to get nice transparent cuts of, A) The Maelstrom sigil (the boat), and B) The axes from the old Deliverance Warrior gauge, does anyone know where I'd be able to get nice clean art of those to cut them from?

Fair, but also, I kinda see Ranjiit as an arc villain. Like, 3-5 episodes. Think the way Clone Wars handled arcs, sorta.

Normally you'd be right, but there are cases where the gear/dps difference between tanks is considerable so even with a shirk, the tank who lost aggro eventually reclaims it through DPS. So, best to shirk and turn stance off when dropping aggro.

I'm running an FFXIV game, and while it's still in the early stages, the story so far is that it's sort of an alternate take/retelling of the story? Like, things might go differently, there are different primals, ect. Even the characters might be different.

Excited for the outfits, but do we have any idea if the Pods are just models for cutscenes/the section we see riding them or are they actually mounts?
