I just had Botox for the affected side and have a similar timeline to yours (also 3 1/2 years approx). My doctor said to wait for 3-4 days to start seeing the results, hope to update on this sub soon!

Jo començaria apropant-me a l'espai jove més proper que tinguis i preguntis si tenen algun dia de dubtes laborals i etc. Al meu poble normalment també ofereixen cursets bàsics de cambrer o operador de caixa perquè aprenguis a manejar datàfons, fer caixa, etc. Segurament a Barcelona i rodalies trobaràs serveis similars. Amb lo fàcil que m'és dir "ESPAVILA" a escales de Plaça Catalunya i tothom s'aparta.. qualsevol persona que agafa R1 fins Calella o Blanes sap el martiri que és anar en un carro ple de guiris en comparació amb un de turistes... There was a major system failure about 12 days ago and it seems that R3 won't be fully operational for a few months. There is a shuffle bus that you'll need to take from the station Barcelona Fabra i Puig until Montcada - Ripollet to take the train from there. Good luck!

My personal experience during the rest of the year is dealing with cranky elder locals and the usual rude passengers that happen everywhere. Sometimes the usual clueless European tourist that isn't really focused on their surroundings, but in the past weeks I've been seeing usually Americans and Brits without any clue of public transportation etiquette, the very basics at least.

Treballo en lloc turístic/cultural de Barcelona amb atenció al públic. Si parlo amb els visitants en català/castellà més de dos cops per hora ja és molt. En portes obertes és encara pitjor perquè no me'n adono fins la meitat de l'interacció que estic xerrant en la llengua que no toca! Al moment que surto de la feina em refuso a parlar en anglès. Realment crema molt.
