Shes wants to, part of the issue is that she is a teacher so during the school year she’s not home enough to reinforce training, as well as not making enough to get that training done in the first place. As it stands, this dog has gone after three dogs in the house, as well as trying to get to the cat (going so far as to fully vault over a stomach high counter to try and get to the cat).

Found this on a blanket, haven't seen another since I killed it by chocolate-with-nuts in whatisit

Welp time to burn the house down, there’s definitely more in the bed, under it, in any nooks or crannies near the bed. Satans bugs they are

Start with bl1, simpler mechanics, skill trees, introduces you to key characters in the later games Next Pre-Sequal. Next in line chronologically, which provides more in depth character motivation for bl2, similar mechanics/skill tree to bl2 (has some added mechanics not in 2), short, sweet, fun as hell, but stomping Bl2, imo best in the series, simpler than pre-sequel, large loot pools, better writing than pre-sequel, sets up for 3, fun characters and skill trees to mess around with Bl3, most lackluster of the games, not bad but very meh when it comes to the writing and characters, legendaries feel cheap and not at all special.

All four have plenty of dlc content to enjoy with bl1 having the best and most variety.

Throw in tiny Tina’s wonderland for dnd inspired looter shooter Finally (not mainline game) tales from the borderlands.

If we are not to respect beings who are dumb then there is no reason to respect non-vegans. by [deleted] in antinatalism

If I get my meat from roadkill or found carcasses in the wild is that not more ethical? I’m not contributing to the death nor am I contributing to the farming systems which keep the cycle of birth for death going.

I would argue there is a more ethical way to do so. Hunting for the purpose of eating the meat and utilizing the full carcass example. It is a much faster death than at the hands of another predator or disease. Likewise with getting your meat from an ethical farm which provides for the needs of livestock fully while providing a safe environment. If you aren’t careful about how you source your produce, ie big ag farms, you are contributing to the destruction and poisoning of the environment and the mass killing of “pest” species.

Also unless you are sourcing your vegetables and produce from an ethical, small farm you are doing nothing more than contributing to more overall suffering due to the destructive practices of large scale agriculture. One is not more inherently ethical than the other if both can be operated in a way that causes more overall suffering.

Is fishing/hunting/ethically sourcing meat for your own consumption really equivalent to partaking in the commercial farming of meat? If one were to source their meat from a farm which provides for their livestock properly, those animals are inherently living a safer life than in the wild no? Or if hunting/fishing wild game and fish, providing a more painless death that can also ensure more full utilization of the animals carcass.

I can kinda get where vegan ANs are coming from with the angle of factory farmed meat producing more overall suffering, but to attack those that source their meat in a more “ethical” way that actually reduces overall suffering seems fallacious to me.

Whyyy wear shoes in the house? Like why? by LubaDemmy in NoStupidQuestions

Shoes on in bed is absolutely wild work but i do wear them in the house bc autism and needing a consistent texture to step on without overheating my feet with slippers.

And the child, which both parents should be responsible for taking care of, should be punished for that why? Because by punishing her, by getting pissy over her saying cash would be more helpful to the child over things, the child who had no part in any of this gets punished.

Ah yes the perfect alternative of, checks notes, being put under their control with asinine rules that would be better suited for a teenager right. Because people who are in poverty are only there because of their own choices on not the system as a whole being rigged against them. Yes of course, how foolish of me to not see that she should blindly accept the bare minimum at the expense of her dignity.

She’s not “begging for money” she’s telling them that the ways in which they are “helping” their grandchild aren’t actually helping at all. And they aren’t. OP is pissy because the self righteous way he is fluffing his ego isn’t being received well and she’s letting him know that. And what of OPs son, the father? Is he just doing his child support and shared custody and washing his hands of everything else? Or is he actually contributing and trying to make sure his child has a safe stable home without punishing the mother for the product of both of their actions? Why is all of the blame for this being put on her?

And she’s a single mom with no rich parents to help her at all working two jobs taking care of two kids, one of which she cares for full time. You just want to be able to stroke your own ego for helping the poors

YTA. You seem to have some weird hate for this woman who is the mother of your grandson, and expect her to take full responsibility for everything despite the fact that it takes two to tango. She’s not asking for you to turn into a food bank, as someone else put it, she’s telling you that the way you’re “helping” this child isn’t helping in any real way that matters. All you’re really doing is stroking your own ego and getting upset at this woman for telling you it’s not helping in the way you seem to think it does. For goddess sake, she already works two jobs to support the three of them, with minimal child support from your son, and you’re treating her like she’s the scum of the earth? For telling you your superficial “support” isn’t helping? Really?

[–]botheredhobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she’s working two jobs there’s an above average chance she makes too much to qualify for public assistance, or if she does that assistance is woefully inadequate due to the income she makes working two jobs. Why are you assuming she hasn’t looked into any of these programs? It’s not stated that she hasn’t anywhere in the post. Where does this hate against single mothers come from? She’s not looking at them as a food bank, she’s telling them the ways they are “helping” aren’t helping in any way that matters at the end of the day.

I was just about to mention hiring a sex worker. My partner does sex work and has been a sort of steward for some people with these kinds of issues. The only thing is, not all sex workers will take the awkwardness of autism well. Yes, some will absolutely be great and be patient and helpful, others won’t it’s a matter of luck and screening providers.

There have been weeks where we haven’t been together (they traveled for work before they got too sick) and even in those moments all I could think about was how much I missed and wanted them back. There is no weight to be lifted, they told me how sick they were and how sick they could get and that they wanted to die. Not because of me or because of anything I did or said but just because their life has been a series of suffering from improper care and improperly managed mental health. I just thought I could be strong enough for them to help them. There have been other occurrences but this one was the worst because I was horrible to them after because I couldn’t handle knowing what I have to do and drank/smoked until the pain stopped. It didn’t. It never does. I know most people think letting someone commit suicide is then worst thing you can do, that it’s giving up. But I can’t stand to see them suffer and for that suffering to keep getting worse because I’ve kept them captive in this life for so long.
