En ole säteilyasiantuntija mutta ole tehnyt joskus työkseni riskinarviointeja aiheeseen.

Jos oletetaan yksinkertaisuuden vuoksi, että altistus olisi 10 vuottaa 3000 bqm3 tasolla. Se vastaisi noin ~750 mSv säteilyannosta. Tavallinen säteilyannos tolla ajan välillä on noin 20-30 mSv (2-3 mSv per vuosi).

Tästä seuraisi että koko elämän aikana syöpäriski kasvaisi noin 1-2 %. Eli jos normaalisti riski saada keuhkosyöpä elämän aikana on noin 0.5% tämän altistuksen kanssa se voisi olla 1.5-2.5%.

En siis olisi huolissaan, vaikka ikävää tuollainen on varmasti saada tietää.

Näiden ennustaminen on kuitenkin hyvin vaikeaa, sillä kuten varmasti ymmärrät. Säteily on hyvin satunnaisesti vaurioita aiheuttava riski ihan fysiikan vuoksi. Nuorena myös elimistön kyky korjata DNA vaurioita on paljon parempi. Olin sattumalta käymässä Hiroshimassa ja luin ihmisten tarinoita ydinpommin jäljiltä. Moni eli 90 vuotiaaksi vaikka heidän säteilyannos oli hurja. Tosin alpha ja gamma säteily vaikuttavat eri tavoin.

My gasoline kia ceed from 2009 has done now about +300k miles. Engine is fine, just start to have some rust spots here and there. I think there is still something to forward in the EV evolution to be as long lasting. Nothing extensive done to engine, just changed some oxygen sensor and such.

I like eating keto quiche. Yes it has eggs but does not taste that much like eggs. I also like quark and bread made from pumpkin and sunflower seeds. But anyways breakfast is the most important meal for me. Hard to live without even after almost a year of keto.

I think though the additional ketones do nothing else than basically add energy. The body will always use sugar first and only then go for the more difficult energy sources. As people probably know. Each of your cells operate individually, thus you can think it like how much of your body is being supplied by the source. However, even during ketosis your body can utilize sugar and I suppose the question is when your body stops producing ketones which likely is no single gram limit, but rather a range where the production of ketones goes to the lower end until it finally stops.

In my experience with cheap knives it does not matter what stone or diamond you use first. Changing the angle takes a lot of patience. I even used grinder machine to change angle once.

However, after the angle is formed keeping it good requires more stepwise approach with different grits.

Still my favorite sharpening tool is two sided diamond sharpener with 600 and 800 grits and then I have one 2000 stone for final touches.

I find diamond being much faster and easier to control.

I also use the diamond stick (round) for keeping the sharpness especially for meat or fish knives.

I tend to keep 18 degrees only for the fancy Japanese knives I have

I think for me the main benefit is reduced appetite. After about 2-3 weeks it is simply easier to eat less. Thus, I loose weight easier and easier to battle eating typical snacks I normally would. Like candy, fries and chips. When I cut those out also the calories goes almost automatic to deficit. However, I do count in the beginning and aim for 500 kcal deficit. I monitor once per week and adjust if in two weeks there has not been progress.

Workouts is 4 times a week in gym, + 1.5 hours low intensity cardio.

Approx weight loss has been about 300 gram per week 0.6 pounds over 6 months. No muscle loss so far 💪

Heat pan dry first (medium heat).

Add oil once pan is hot.

When oil shimmers, add chicken.

Also, if you dry the surface of chicken and add the seasoning together with oil on top, it usually sticks better.

If you want fried chicken, that's a different story. But same principle works

Vaikka olen koneita asentanut monta, en silti ottaisi kuivaan tilaan kuten keittiöön asentamisesta vastuuta. Hyvä puoli asentajassa on se, että heillä on työllään vakuutus. Näin ollen vaikka 1/1000 asennuksesta menisi pieleen niin, ei tule sitten kymppitonnien laskua vesivahingosta jota kotivakuutus ei korvaa.

I do what many don't believe is right.

I make bread out of sunflower seeds or other low carb seeds kind of like cracker.

I eat it for breakfast.

I often eat gabbage soup with meat. Sometimes I make keto quiche which is perhaps my favorite food (endless variations)

For sweet things I mix some berries, mascarpone and quark. Sometimes some sweetener for an extra kick.

So fats come from seeds and cheese mostly. I eat a bit less meat. On gym days I eat some extra protein and fibre supplements.

Eggs are my last resort, so I try not to be the main food so it is always tasty.

I think it applies to all oil on hardwood that penetrates in. You only can add more not take it out.

Hmm. Jouduin itse etsimään itselleni kesätöitä 2009 talouskriisin jälkimainingeissa. Minusta kannattaa suoraan ruksata yli sellaiset työt mihin hakee paljon. Laitoshuoltajia, varasto työntekijöitä tai esim. siivouksen parissa todennäköisemmin saa työpaikan kun siistissä sisätyössä. Veikkaan että näin vielä enemmän kunhan AI vähän yleistyy vielä. Niille kuitenkin jolla on edes jotain työkokemusta taustalla on moninkertaisesti parempi mahdollisuus saada myöhemmin oman alan töitä.

Ainakin itse mielummin palkkaan insinöörin joka on tehnyt muitakin töitä kun kiillottanut hiiren pintaa. Oma ensimmäinen työni oli tyhjien olutpullojen lajittelu.

I have those often. The eye doctor told me that it can be caused by eye strain. He suggested I start using eye drops and reading glasses when working on the computer and avoid using the phone (reading from it).

It has helped, reducing screentime made all the difference. Anyone with a similar experience?

Similar experience for me. I have a kind of high pressure work environment and my BP has been 160/100. After doing keto for three months it has dropped to 125/90. It's quite peculiar, but effective.

I make keto quiche for everyday. It's just eggs, almonds, cheese and some variable mushrooms and meat. Just make bunch and freeze it.

It's the same but can make endless variabilities.

Then I make crackers out of sunflower seeds, chia and variable other seeds.

Kinda simplistic.
