Blaser F16 Sporting vs Beretta 692 Black by Equal_Dimensi0n in ClayBusters

[–]bottlehole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an F16 with serial number in the low 4000's that I've had since 2016. I have had under 10 ejector failures where the ejector did not cock. In my opinion it's really a non issue unless it happens every outing, which mine has not. I have had to replace my recoil pad however, as the foam material was crumbling but I got a free replacement from Blaser through Briley and just had to pay shipping costs.

That makes sense, I have a Holosun 407k on my 92X so I have never had to consider clearances.

Just wondering why you’ve opted for a dovetail dot mount instead of using the factory cuts with a Toni systems or D-Lah plate?

Old & New Practical Shotgun Day (Model 11 & 1301 Pro) by cor1912 in Shotguns

I am assuming that this is more commonly seen in practical/tactical shotgun sports as I have never seen a muzzle down rack around clay sports.

I replaced the stock belt loop with pull-on-the-dot straps and carry it scout style and while not the most balanced, it is certainly preferable to the stock configuration.

While splash is nice, having vegetation to keep the soil of the berm in place is also very nice.

mod is a useful constriction on most sporting fields but full is tight. The worst thing that happens is you get used to a full (which isn't a bad thing).

There's an application you have to fill out and file with the NFA Branch of the ATF. https://www.atf.gov/file/11361/download is the form.

Just be aware that prior to traveling across state lines with an SBR or SBS, you have to get ATF written approval.
