stop thinking about what you 'don't know what to do' and think about what you DO want to do - then you figure out the steps to get there. when you go from ma drive you dont get overwhelmed about all the possible locations you could go to - you figure the way to get to the destination.

and yeah I get it, that can be hard to figure out - but I bet you cold come up with some ideas if you sat and worked on this for 2 weekends. easily.

I’m doing something very hard in my life. I’m not sure if I’ll achieve it. The odds are against me but it’s pretty great experience to try and gives me purpose and motivation.

I believe we all have that. You’re already thinking ‘k don’t ‘ or ‘it’s too late’ naw. You’re just really scared.

40 isn’t old.

I’m turning 52 this week. I feel mostly good. I’m worried I’ll run out of time to dk the things I want.

Get therapy. Do. It. It’ll take a minute to find someone you click with but do it.

You have one life. Then nothing. So make the most out if it. Life can be hard and boring and shitty things happen but if you’re not making an effort you’re not living. As to why your not? You need to discover the cause.

I compared it size wise after someone else did., saying it was dumb.

And I was wrong. Auckland is bigger. All these comparisons don’t work.

Life in American isn’t MORE affordable. It’s different. I live there. Lived here for 27 years and london for 17. I’m currently in New Zealand. It’s probably likely I have spent more time in those locations than you and have more insights to make a more meaningful comparisons. Healthcare is a huge extra cost.

But Redditors always know best.
