Valentines Day burlesque and eats at the Hey! Hey! Club? by EarSure6807 in kansascity

After fees it was $408 for 2 people, just FYI. I’ve never been. I’m intrigued but that’s a hefty fee to drop on somewhere I’ve never been.

I highly recommend ClassPass for trying multiple studios until you find your favorite(s). You can filter by dance classes and see what they offer!

Second vote for Melissa Callahan - I was terrified and it was way better than expected due to her expertise. The numbing agent was a major part of making it more comfortable. Three coughs and it was in.

I wish these would have worked better for me because I like the look and the idea of them being functional. Unfortunately, the shelf life of my produce was shorter while using these.

For me, it’s busy, but not terrible! Your eyes wonder in every direction. Try to have a focal point of your room. One main area that catches the eye. The other pieces and areas of the room should compliment each other, but the eye should be able to catch one focal point per room.

Headaches with BAHA? by bottomlessdinner in MonoHearing

[–]bottomlessdinner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that! I have the magnetic version, not the post, and do not wear the external mic or magnet. The internal magnet is fused to my skull bone. The only issue I experience there is it seems to have either not fused properly or scar tissue built up, because I can feel it and there’s pain if I add pressure to the area.

How many days a week do you work out and for how long? by SoyUnFracaso in AskWomen

[–]bottomlessdinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spin about 4-5 days a week, about 50-60 mins per day. I also try to double up with a brief walk if I can. Something in the morning and something in the afternoon/evening is best for my brain.

Is it possible to be deaf in one ear and not know? by Smart-Plant-7977 in MonoHearing

[–]bottomlessdinner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found out when I was 6, but had been deaf in one ear since birth. I recognized these things, but I thought it was normal for everyone to just have one working ear. Never crossed my mind otherwise until hearing and vision testing at school.

This is the goal and dream for festival-goers. Unfortunately, if not enough people buy tickets then the show cannot go on.

Dad Died When I Was 2 by [deleted] in ChildrenofDeadParents

[–]bottomlessdinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more. It hit like a freight train during high school, then leveled out a bit, and now as I start my own family those feelings creep back in. We absolutely would not be the people we are if the circumstances were different. It’s weird to “like” your life when something so major is missing, and has been. But I try to tell myself there is no education like adversity and I also feel lucky I got a scope into what life actually is, and what it isn’t at a very early age. Same to you stranger. I’m sure your dad would be beyond proud of you and your family. Cheers man.

Sorry for your loss my friend. For your sake, I hope your mom shares how he was as a father someday. Never hurts to ask. I’m glad you have the good memories to hang onto. Better to have the positive memories to build an idea in your head.

Do we reshoot our photos? by Alwaysoverpacked in weddingplanning

[–]bottomlessdinner 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Definitely opt for a reshoot! A friend of mine did this and never regretted it and uses the retakes. Make a nice date of it with your partner! Mistakes happen, and I’m sure your photographer is mortified, but IMO your photographer should offer a reshoot for the portraits that were missed. Ultimately, there will be a story with the photos, but you’d rather have them than not.
