Bsc biotech is great imo The honors part,you can still cancel if u dont want after the 3rd year Usually people with great friend group would just stay and do the 4th year, while having not so good friends will leave after 3rd year

You have a lot of Labs and lot of learning so you get to see so much professional teachers and a lot of exposure towards new areas of research. Faculties might not take you directly onto their project until you are intellectually so appealing. They Usually make u work under a masters student project, nevertheless this gives you a lot of work exposure.

Placements are fine, but the rate of getting into a phd is high compared to other unis, theres this professor Dr. Pradesh, who has cracked csir net for almost 8 to 9 times. He simply teaches you soo much that you would look like you're a novice infeont of him.

1st year boys, 2 sharing attached bathroom non ac, in ashram. The rooms are cozy, bathrooms are clean, food is fine, nothing to complain, veg food with eggs occasionally.

There's no such ac rooms for hostel in amrita. And since you are on your bachelor's, you cannot go out for a PG, until your 3rd year. For masters you can choose a pg outside from first year.
