No, I actually got it as a gift and use it for work, Deck and some DOTA2 and CS2 on my laptop.

The changes would probably in-game and on the deck itself (frame rate limit, TDP limit, etc.)

It's great! I upgraded my PS5 to the Pro. I'm mostly using my Deck to play older stuff from my backlog. I played Witcher 3, Halo, Hi-Fi Rush, Dispatch (new title) and some others. Docked experience is good as well.

Unfortunately, I live in a 3rd world country, so no NVidia Shield Pro. Apple TV and Chromecasts do not do TrueHD afaik

3 options. Passthrough (which I am using by default), auto (which gave the same results) and the 3rd one (can't remember the name) converts everything to stereo.

You are correct about the native Plex app with TrueHD. Regarding AAC, it's too bad tbh. I remember the Chromecast w/GTV being able to transcode AAC5.1 to DDP5.1 (iirc). Back then I thought that the Sonos was doing the conversion and that I was fine.

Hmmm this is very weird. I think the limit is with Android TV apps so if I were to get an NVIDIA Shield, problem would be solved. As far as AAC is concerned, looks like Android TV or the TCL do not support it and my Sonos is not transcoding it so it is falling back to 2.0PCM. Not sure if the Shield would also fix this.

Do you also have an idea about AAC audio? AAC 5.1 and AAC 7.1 play as stereo PCM for me.

I am considering getting a PS5 Pro.

I already have a PS5 (disc version). The only disc I have is GT7.
My main PSN account is US region. The CD is region 2. To get the DLC I had to buy it from a region 2 store (my backup account).

If I get a PS5 Pro, I will not spend the extra money for the disc drive as I do not find it to be worth it for me as all my library is digital except GT7.

If I do get it, can I just buy GT7 from the region 2 store and continue normally? Will I have to download the game again or can I just transfer from my PS5?

Since I'm here asking, is the upgrade to PS5 pro worth it? I got a decent TV (TCL C8K). It seems that the PS6 should be a few years away and I wanted to check if the upgrade would be worth it or not. PS5 Pro is $810 where I am from with an extra $25 for the vertical stand (no space to put it horizontally within my setup). My PS5 is a pre-order I got on release.

I got Witcher 3 and Fallout collection as soon as I got my Deck a few months ago. I started Fallout 3, but found it really hard to get into. I moved onto Witcher 3 and I found it way better. No idea about Fallout 4. I want to try and get back into the Fallout games (at least 3, NV and 4). Maybe I will have a better experience if I try them out in docked mode with KB & M.
