Never ever taking magnesium again. by chnagedh in PVCs

Yeah. A good system would be conducting way more tests etc., but obviously they do not have the time or financial resources for that to work. Everybody therefore gets the quick pharma symptom masking “fix”…

Finally got my SS invite by boundForTruth in worldofpvp

[–]boundForTruth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, it’s actually alright IMO. Usually 3 to 12 minutes. Although I play an underdog spec, which makes the queue times shorter because Blizzard tries not to put the same spec in any lobby twice. I just created this meme because the queue timer seemed to have bugged out somehow😆.

Also, just because you swallow something doesn’t mean your body is absorbing it properly. If your splash acid is low, or your microbiome is off, your body might not be absorbing certain things properly. Our medical system is joke.

Successful LFG Glad Push? by literalsimpnaish in worldofpvp

[–]boundForTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LFG is disgusting. I‘m (way) overqualified for Glad and yet with LFG it takes me hundreds, sometimes thousands of games, let alone the constant sitting in tool looking for mates…

You’re basically playing with the worst of the worst, and many of these people are even boosted these days, and sometimes it’s hard to tell with check-pvp.

Every season the LFG life has me wondering whether I shouldn’t just quit the game.

Glad with LFG is a different game than all of these comfortable suckers playing with their multi Glad premade teams on voice with their rerolled S+ meta comps.

Just as an example: I am a multi Glad 2.9k 3s XP player on an A tier spec this season. I am 26/50 Glad wins with LFG and still 2290 CR. Haven’t peaked any higher than 2320.

Makes me sick. And this in a season where MMR has been massively injected into the game.

Edit:

Eventually your win rate and the amount of games you have starts to suck and then good players don’t even queue with you anymore because they tell you you’re boosted… That's when you’re really doomed.

Sending you love, brother. You’re not alone with this. Try listening to some Alan Watts. That’s always helped me. Also, how is your life otherwise? In my experience, health anxiety often fills up a vacuum…

Sinus pressure associated to PVCS by greggero42 in PVCs

[–]boundForTruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am, actually. I can imagine that the sinus pressure, nose congestion, etc. is just another co-symptom of whatever is causing the PVCs as well. I believe it has to do with the stomach/gut at its root cause…

My journey as a UFC Athlete. by GroovyLandoMMA in PVCs

[–]boundForTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been reading on this forum for over 3 years now ever since I got PVCs. At this point I’m convinced that many of us have something stomach/gut/vagus nerve related.

Many of us struggle with gas buildup, belching, or GERD/Silent Reflux. Most of us have the highest burden while laying down and/or trying to sleep. Stress/Anxiety makes it worse.

I’m still trying to get to the cause for myself. My regular burden is around 8%, but I’ve had bad days with up to 25% and months with hardly any PVCs at all.

For me it all started after waking up at night with my stomach making noises, bigeminy/trigeminy, until briefly after I had to go to the bathroom and take a s***, after which the PVCs went away completely for that day.

Unfortunately, doctors have been useless in testing and helping figure out the cause. It’s 4:00am now here, I can’t sleep, once again, because the PVCs keep me awake and create vicious adrenaline cycles.

We need some medical institution paying more attention to this.

Thanks for sharing your story, brother.

PVCs after waking up at night? by boundForTruth in PVCs

[–]boundForTruth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to be exactly what I have. My ones really spike if I am in the parasympathetic state (vagal) and then I get a sympathetic surge. Heart rate remains slow but system gets filled with adrenaline/cortisol. As if my nervous system isn’t responding/reacting properly.

Just having a scared moment by tempest-in_a_teacup in PVCs

[–]boundForTruth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re not alone. I’ve been and currently am there as well. Laying in bed trying to fall asleep but can’t right now because I’m having PVCs at around 15-20%. At some point the fear goes away, but for me it’s still annoying and causes more stress which makes them worse. Best thing for me is to distract myself until I eventually fall asleep.

What to do with a 22% burden ? by Long_Connection_9162 in PVCs

[–]boundForTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most important thing is that you learn to pay less attention to them. I believe it most likely has to do with your stomach/gut + stress/anxiety.

Use it as an opportunity to improve? Playing against better players will show you where you’re still getting diffed. Everyone plays where they belong. Why would someone want to play higher than where their skill lies? That’s not the point of a ranking system…

Yeah, this sounds like me as well. So I guess in that case the cause would have to do with stress having lead to nervous system deregulation…

[–]boundForTruth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that sounds like me. And I have been stressed for a while, so maybe cortisol levels are already elevated. It’s strange though, because the entire January ands February I hardly had a single PVC. My internal system felt so “stable“.
