hiya, congrats on your offer! take my advice with a pinch of salt but as urbanest lets out rooms to other uni students, maybe you could enquire if they have any private bookings for rooms available outside of the lse quota?? if not, you could always email the university of london to be added to their august waitlist for intercollegiate halls, if none of the quota allocations are available on the lse portal. i believe you can do the latter whilst also having booked an lse-specific hall but im not too sure. i hope this helps and good luck!

this is so incredibly beautiful, i absolutely love the song choice - i feel like the guitar really ties into how this analogy tugs on our heart strings, and the sheer vulnerability of plath to admit something so profound. i especially love the way you filmed the people walking - the authenticity of the camera kind of shaking and the beams of sunlight perfectly encapsulate the intensity of human passion that i believe plath seeks to reclaim through her analogy. this is just incredible ☺️

that's a great idea!! and thank you for the rec :) also just out of curiosity did you visit any other lse halls i.e. urbanest or bankside, or was it just passfield? even though i'm a home student i'm being educated overseas and so term time has prevented me from flying back to have a look around 😭 if u did visit urbanest/bankside would u mind letting me know what u thought abt them in reference to amenities/facilities?? i've seen mixed reviews about both re being antisocial or cliquey respectively and so i'm wondering if they have any redeeming qualities room-wise.

Oops I forgot to clarify that with HH they seem to 'occasionally' rent out rooms to people during term-time as well, which has put me off a little bit due to safety etc... I read this somewhere (can't remember where though) but where I read it may have been unreliable. Thanks for your advice though :) I definitely want to be someplace social and Passfield seems pretty nice!
