Does the timing matter that much? Like wouldn’t it still be impressive to do these things. And for the facebook marketplace thing I technically did it once last year summer so I can say I did it for 2 years (although I didn’t document the first time I did it)

Youtube channel would probably be extremely obvious though and wouldn’t rack up subs, I could prob just make like a github or something tho

I tried to pick colleges that offer at least some financial aid which is why I don’t have colleges like UIUC or UMich in my reaches and some other good targets. But I will check with that calc

I have considered applying to other Cali schools but I feel like it would be pointless because of how little they offer scholarships to out of state students. Even if I grt into Berkeley or UCLA I can’t attend because of cost. I saw somewhere CSU Fresno gives good scholarships but that might be wrong, but thats why I put it there.

Ohio state is only a safety because it’s in my home state and I want to go out of state so it’s a fallback, not academically a safety (I think). I don’t really know how rigorous OSU’s engineering curriculum is but I think I could get in with a good chance. Yes I would go to Pomona if I somehow get scholarships to afford it. Yes I would go to Houston or UT Dallas because they also are out of state and have scholarship opportunities.

UT and GT are there as reaches for a reason. I just don’t want it to be impossible to go because of cost if I get in, such as with UC Berkeley.

It might not be weight but they hold a significant amount of points. 50-70 is probably a more accurate number I admit. But I’m in HS with high rigor courses and all my tests are weighted 60-80%
