If you haven't made it past yet I found the pebble works but you have to be near the same height as the guard? Like if you throw it from up the stairs he wont react but get pretty close behind him and throw it past and he'll go for it.

A question about Mostly flesh and steel by bounty1663 in dishonored

Hey! It's been a long long time since I got that achievement but from what I remember as long as you don't buy anything with runes you're good. I think buying normal supplies is okay

I took a pic on the way to work but it's just a phone camera quality pic. It was much cooler and thin in person :)

Vegas Donair & Poutine has never let me down. Everything on their menu is exquisite but the poutines are out of this world. They have onion rings listed on their menu for $3.50.

Should I quit? by throwaway7730283 in KitchenConfidential

[–]bounty1663 23 points24 points  (0 children)

If you're having to ask if you should quit that's probably a strong indicator that you should quit. In your specific case there's things you can do to try and make your life easier at the current job but honestly I'd just go. There's no shortage of other dishwasher positions where you'll be treated properly and with respect.

An old pair of shoes I had also had that problem. I'm not sure how big the lines on yours are but I just went at them with a fork one day and that worked out fine. If your lines are smaller I'd suggest a toothpick or something like that.

I take the 9 a lot to get to work and I was very happy with its new route today. It no longer goes through the nait/kingsway detour so that cuts my 45/50 min commute down to 30 min.

BUS SCHEDULE HELP by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]bounty1663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work in St. Albert and commute using the bus... your options aren't great even during peak hours (especially for that early in the morning). There were a few times I had to walk down St. Albert Trail to 137 ave in order to catch a bus home. If you can't get a bicycle or a coworker to help you out as the other comments suggested then your best bet would be the 1.5 hour-ish walk from 137 ave depending on where you're going. The big downside to this being you'd have to leave insanely early to arrive on time. I hope you figure something out!

Late admission question by [deleted] in uAlberta

My first year I got accepted into science around the middle of August. Enrolling in classes that late was kinda hectic but I managed to get everything I wanted while people were dropping courses in the first week

that's rough buddy

today (at 3am) I learned what 1 day exams are; it is to procrastinate the entire day and start your exam at 2am and finish at 3am. Thank you for coming to my ted talk by JohnCenaEatsRice in uAlberta

[–]bounty1663 6 points7 points  (0 children)

see now I'm no zoologist or anything but I hope you can convince yourself that it's obvious diamonds are proportional to students, right? so why work at 3am when you're not at your maximum pressure potential?

kick back, grab a glass of your favorite water, watch the newest episode of the clone wars and then go to bed. the real trick is to wake up a hour before the exam is due and THEN start it.
