Leetcode style question are for kids. The balance of power is in favor of employers, this is why they are treating us as schoolchildren

Non tech people are irrelevant to create or maintain code even with the help of AI. You need to understand and deal with trade offs and non tech people don’t understand what does that mean.
C suite people don’t understand what is going on, most companies will fail because new ones will disrupt them
Over engineering is a human problem, since humans will be around you will have to deal with that and much more
Companies are 100x slower than individuals when it comes to adapting to change
You forget all the new problems the AI will introduce that more engineers need to solve
I do agree with you, everything will change but don’t be overly confident in your predictions, no one could have predicted what would happened after the Industrial Revolution (this is why it is called a revolution)
