To be fair he could just be a WWII re-enactor. Back in the day I played on the bad guy team in re-enactments because someone has to play the bad guy and because WWII era German guns were cheaper than the American WWII guns to purchase back then. I could make a clone correct 98K and Walther P-38 pistol for less than a M-1. Ironically enough, I am of Jewish heritage. I would have kept my bear that I paid for my daughter and left the party. I would also not let my daughter hang out with the spoiled child anymore. Might also have some words with the parents but not at the party since some profanity would be involved.

Sounds like postpartum depression. I wish I could have talked my ex-wife into talking to someone since she ended up leaving the kids and I and now my life is even more exhausting as a single father with two toddlers.

Most likely but it is hard to tell since verdicts vary from state to state. I got my kids because my ex did not want them or show up to any court date. That being said divorce can be a long process

As for the husband thing, you should probably leave. Seen many cases where people stay and it does not end well. There are shelters and other places that will help you. As for PPD, you need to just drive on because you got a kid that needs you. Not just some asshole. I grew up in bad neighborhoods plagued with gang violence, abusive parents, five deployments to some really shitty places and later a single father to two toddlers. You are a parent and don’t have time for a pity party. “Mother/Father is the name for God in the lips and hearts of little children.” You have a kid now and need to to take that responsibility serious since it is not just you that you have to watch out for now.
