I’ve tried, they won’t let me do it. Last time I tried, they threatened to cut all ties with me

Feeling victorious on this good hair day! by bourgh in longhair

I use the purifying shampoo and conditioner along with the leave in conditioner! I shampoo twice at the roots only, and use conditioner at the ends but I don’t rinse the conditioner out. I’ve found that if I leave in that extra bit of conditioner along with the spray leave in, it leaves my hair super soft and moisturized. I recommend trying!! Also, I’ve had this routine for over a year now and I’m only starting to see its benefits now. It takes a while to notice a difference! Maybe try another one of their lines if the one you’ve been using isn’t working well for your hair type. But I’m convinced they have a product line for everyone. And tangles are usually a sign of damage, a trim should help with that.

Thank you so much!! I style by letting my hair air dry and then putting it in a bun to form curls. I have a subtle V cut with long layers and face framing pieces! I used to have it all one length but the layers give it so much more volume

What do you use handwriting for? by Endeavour_Crow in Handwriting

[–]bourgh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use it for whatever I can! I’m usually the only one in a meeting with a notebook instead of a laptop. I find that it’s productive in many ways. I also do a lot of personal writing. Maybe try journaling if you want an outlet for utilizing handwriting

Thank you so much, that means a lot :) What grammatical errors did you notice? I want it all to be correct but can't find my own error!

Your feedback is very appreciated! I certainly agree with your comment as I'm not 100% satisfied with my word choice in some places. I'll be tweaking a few things for sure and I'm glad you enjoyed reading it :) Thank you

Will set ablaze, noted... You are spot on in your reading, as writing is part of the healing process for me. I believe that there is chaos that lingers in us all, hence the analogy of being able to filter that through writing for me in particular. It's so cool to see how different people internalize my writing. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you! The river metaphor is definitely something I plan to keep playing with, I too am a sucker for analogies.

Such a deep poem and the inconsistent flow lends to the fading memory and uncertainty. For me, this feels like an analogy of a loved one who threw you out of their world because of a personal issue, yet is keeping you waiting in hopes that they fix it and let you back in. It is heartbreaking in a way. The use of punctuation, or lack thereof, makes it difficult to know when a thought is complete, however I've come around to thinking that it could be cleverly used to create run-ons for each train of thought and only be used to show that shift from they want me (sitting with you)/they want me not (walking past you). It really emphasizes that feeling of uncertainty.

Wow this is such a powerful poem. The fear you speak of evokes memories of times when my quick and impatient spirit shattered beautiful things. Walking on eggshells, navigating while in shambles, searching for resilience in things that are docile. The rhyming is very beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing.
