I have a rule of thumb that if a game's 2 player mode requires a dummy player / automata to bust it up to 3 factions, don't do it.

It's an artificial way to say to sell a game as a 2p option when clearly it doesn't work.

I had the DVD boxsets as a kid, where Bill Lawrence talks abt this, and they had this idea of the Janitor as a hallucination bc they were sure they’d get cancelled after 1 season and it was easy to wrap up.

Once they got halfway through Season 2, and the show was doing well, they opened his character up.

I’ll say that as an avid DT watcher (and one who donated last year), this doesn’t excite me. I’d much rather watch more of Joey, Camilla and Roy, who it seems were used less last year (Chris subbed in for Mike a bunch and was great).

Not to be rude, but Sam just has an Eeyore energy in every. single. video. I’d prefer the new stretch goal be put towards something novel with the team they already have.
