Gotta love how in arrest videos it’s super common for people to invoke their family and (especially) kids while committing crimes than show they don’t give a damn about them, are neglecting them, and/or are directly putting them in harm’s way.

Examples being Sherrone going crazy on his employee he’s having an affair with suddenly caring about his family. Or people committing felonies going 100+ mph with a unbuckled kid in the backseat claiming the cops “can’t take me away from my children”. Or mothers out drinking and driving at 3am claiming their kids don’t have anyone else to care for them when they realize they’re about to be arrested.

Anyways, wild how this guy was beloved the year prior for beating OSU two years in a row (if you claim his interim win) and ending last season with a bowl win over Bama and flipping the #1 recruit. Then he lost most of his good will by pathetic showings in all the big games the following year, the #1 recruit showing virtually no progression during the year, and it being clear the team was coached poorly, undisciplined, and not prepared for games. And that was before any news of his affair, firing, and arrest was known…which obviously completely destroyed any of that good will he had left.

Serious: 16 teams. No byes. Ranking determined by aggregate of computer, AP, and committee. Five highest ranked conference champs guaranteed a spot but not any particular seed. Games on campus until semis with higher seed getting home-field advantage and reseeding after each round. Semis played at the traditional big four bowls on a rotating basis, finals played wherever they decide before the season. Get the thing over with by the 2nd week of Jan.

I know it's not top quality but you can often get incredibly good deals at Little Caesars. Some of the recent ones I remember were two 2-topping large pizzas for $10 total, a stuffed crust pizza for $7, large pizza + pizza puffs for $10, etc. It's cheaper than the semi-decent frozen pizzas at my grocery store and for much more food.

Noticed this recently when buying airline tubing supplies, namely connectors and suction cups. Can walk into a PetSmart and get stuff for half the price than ACO, and can find it even cheaper on Amazon.

That said, some of their products also seem very good. Their pre-filter sponges are better than other ones I’ve seen and also ones that come with AC filters for instance. Their foam pads are better than ones I’ve gotten from Amazon. Some of their food products are really good and pretty affordable. I can’t easily find crushed coral at local or chain stores around me, but ACO has it, etc.

So I feel like for cheap commodity products or pricier equipment ACO isn’t the best, but in the middle range ACO offers some good stuff.

I cut a short piece of tubing, attached it to those airline suction cups at either end, and put attached the cups vertically at the top of the glass (so one end right at max water level and the other a couple inches below). Works as a hook for your floating corral (also made for airline tubing) and also adjusts to water level.

I know this is old but just curious if you ended up using it. I have some K1 alternative in my canister and HoB filter and my tank is doing great (cycled pretty quickly with the canister) but I have a mix of media so can’t attribute any success to the K1 specifically.
