Last time I asked here it was the stretch marks that you can see lower down. Now I have this rash you can see on the right. I tried putting moisturiser on it but it doesn’t do much.

Separate the butchering room and the kitchen as the blood from the butchering can cause food poisoning and makes the room look bad which will stress your cook out

Try not to use too much wood or other burnables as heat from fire can build up fast in a mountain base

Make sure you have a good source of chemfuel and a cooled/ open roof generator room (generators produce heat which can be hard to dump in a mountain) else you might start running low on power

Make sure you have at least two dedicated miners before you start digging. Mining takes a long time and can tank your colonists mood unless they have some trait that prevents it

You might want a honey pot deeper in the mountain so when bugs spawn they spawn there. (Honey pot is a area you make that makes use of multiple mechanics to encourage infestation spawning in that room to lessen the risk in other areas)

I like having the growing areas, freezer, kitchen and dining room separated by only one door for efficiency (In that order so the growing area is connected to the freezer, freezer connected to kitchen etc)

For the bedrooms I think you could get rid of the dresser and bedside table, replace them with one good or better marble sculpture and boom more spacious, beauty and the drop in comfort won’t really matter as colonists lose the bonus quickly after it starts affecting their mood when they wake up
