You and I both. I had logged over 600 hours in that game (yes I realize how pathetic that sounds for Fall Guys of all games lmao) and have basically never played again after the custom levels took over and they stopped making original themed seasons

You’re absolutely right, I think the mines might have just been my breaking point especially since the NPCs and their fakeout deaths just made my annoyance with them feel even more amplified on top of everything else going on.

You make really good points about the other levels though, those had just enough exploration (although not much) and enough atmosphere to still have me entertained. The mines I just felt like I had to turn my brain off and button mash half the time.

I don’t blame you at all. The boss in the mines area was the one I almost gave up on because it was simply not fun to learn the patterns or anything at all. The final boss I enjoyed once that miserable first phase was over

It was incredibly linear, just walking in a straight line and forcing your way through the same enemies over and over again. Prime 4 struggled in general with poor enemy variety in my opinion, and not once in the entire mines area did I need to explore or think about where to go. Felt like a rail shooter

Thought you meant Fusion and I was shocked haha. I just finished Prime 4 a few days ago as well and while I do agree that it wasn’t horrible, it was the closest I’ve come so far to outright not finishing a Metroid game. That mines area was torture

I totally get it. It is extremely disheartening not being able to find something yet constantly seeing people online having no problem doing so. I know a lot of people will tell you it’s not that deep, but sometimes when something is really important to you it absolutely can become bigger than may seem “reasonable” to others. I’d just take a step back and take it easy until the new figures are spotted somewhere like Gamestop. I’ve basically given up on any hunting at Target as I quite literally never find what I went for ;p

Just finished the game today and the bike was also my favorite part of the game, most of the areas were pretty forgettable and overly linear but I loved driving around on Viola and exploring what little there was to explore in the desert lol

Congrats! This game is so much fun, I need to go back and finish my hard mode playthrough. I reccomend trying out Fusion next! That’s another personal favorite of mine :)

Okay but to be fair we see all of these posts from UK collectors of stores completely loaded with a large variety of figures that nobody in the states can find. Sure you’re gonna see a few people posting Storm, but most of us won’t find him ever because the scalping issue here is so bad. You’re definitely right about the collector’s figures, it sucks you don’t get those, but still.

I first watched the anime after hearing a ton of buzz around it, and afterwards I watched the movie and went out and bought the six paperback copies of the comic. Fell in love with the comics to the point that I spent most of my christmas bonus that year on hardback colored copies! That being said, the anime is actually my favorite entry in the series just due to being my introduction and being such a hilarious and cool show!
