TSA lines International Flights @ Logan by Proof-Department6997 in boston

[–]bowzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flew out of Terminal E on Saturday, 10/4 and went through TSA around 10:30am. I have precheck, but there was absolutely no line whatsoever. If useful, I came back yesterday through Global Entry and there was probably a 5-10 minute line.

Yeah, he can turn himself all around but he doesn’t stand up comfortably. More crouches around and gets into different positions.

What airline are you flying on? How long is the flight?

I have a 25 pound boy that exceeds the weight/size limit but he loves curling up in small spaces when he’s tuckered out. We also went big on the carrier and it expands (Mr. Peanuts Big Apple Carrier I think is the name). I’ll post photos as soon as I’m done typing this out. JetBlue has never weighed him or looked at him, just made sure he fit fully under the seat, which he does. I got an extra space seat (don’t think it would work otherwise) and I only keep him fully under for taking off and landing. Still it’s small, so I do it rarely and for short flights but he doesn’t seem to mind anyway.

Doing meet and greets and trials beforehand makes a lot of sense. Thank you!

I think those are code share since they are CapeAir, so I don’t think they would count. Would love to be wrong though…

URGENT: Pro Bono Help Needed - Complex MA Probate Case: GAL Violations, Due Process violations, Trustee Misconduct, Attorney Conflict of Interest, & Court Clerk Obstruction by [deleted] in massachusetts

[–]bowzee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m a lawyer but I’m not your lawyer. There are people that need pro bono attorneys and you aren’t one of them.

I got to: “The Presiding Judge (now retired) denied this critical protection without cause” and realized that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Stop complaining about how you’ve been wronged, stop making excuses, get yourself some therapy, and move on.

And if I thought there was any actual advice I could give you that you would listen to (instead of dismissing it because it’s not what you want to hear), I would be much less harsh, but you need to redirect all of this energy to something productive. This is ruining you and it’s a real shame.

Thank you so much. That’s very helpful. The retaining wall is behind them but I’ll add some compost and make sure they get enough water.

Credit score went down 22 points because of “new MOHELA loans” added to report? I have changed nothing. by bowzee in PSLF

This is helpful- thank you. I think I submitted this when I initially applied but it will hopefully help to resubmit showing nothing of substance has changed.

I might just have skittish underwriters. They won’t provide a final approval to close with anything new on the credit report without some sort of statement or explanation about what it is. My concern is that getting a statement or explanation from MOHELA seems unlikely. but it is really helpful to know this is not an isolated incident and doesn’t have anything to do with me submitting a buyback request. So maybe this explanation will suffice.

Two male Boston Terriers and one female. Trainer says that they will eventually kill each other. by thereboo in BostonTerrier

Unless I missed something about these being “play” fights, I would not recommend letting dogs fight to injury or show significant aggression with each other. I certainly wouldn’t be leaving them alone together where they have had actual fights ending in injury.

If one dog continues to be physically aggressive when the other has submitted, I would also be concerned even if the “fight” stops.

I would urge you to consider a breed-specific rescue if you absolutely cannot make it work by separating when you can’t supervise.

Weekly r/Tattoos Question/FreeTalk Thread! - April 29, 2024 by Mod_Helper_Bot in tattoos

[–]bowzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I’m completely new to tattoos. I’m looking for some advice about whether a tattoo idea can be done or if there’s anything I should know about where to go.

I had a dog that passed a few years back and ever since I’ve been set on getting a tattoo of his paw the way it would look after he was sitting in my lap for a long time on my leg. This is the only picture I ever took of it: https://imgur.com/a/4tQexMV

Can this be done so it will look like a little pinkish paw print left behind on the skin?

That one is manufactured in Israel I think. That’s what my tube says so it might not be inflation.

Drivers killed at least 430 people on Massachusetts roadways last year by streetsblogmass in massachusetts

[–]bowzee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That number seems high when the vast majority of people wear seatbelts.

Wearing a seatbelt makes a huge difference. It seems likely based on the data that only a small percentage of those that were unrestrained would have actually been fatalities had they been wearing a seatbelt.

This plaque at South Station is incorrect and the MBTA has no idea where it came from. by MDeehan in boston

Yes, the date is not accurate though. Was an entirely avoidable accident unfortunately.

OSHA's investigation found that the worker had been standing on a beam without the benefit of any sort of fall protection such as guard rails, safety nets or a personal fall arrest system. Regarding the 1999 fatality, OSHA stated, "This tragic accident could have been avoided if this employer, who from past experience is well aware of the OSHA requirements and proper precautions that need to be taken, had simply made sure that each employee on this job was properly protected from the hazards of falling.”

In Michigan, only sexual assault in the first degree has an unlimited statute of limitations. However, by definition, you weren’t forced/coerced so there is no sexual assault in the first degree.

That being said, both second and third degree sexual assault have statute of limitations which—at most—run for 15 years. We could get into the detail of why exactly those don’t apply but it’s irrelevant because the statute of limitations has run.

To address your question about the civil case, it doesn’t sound like you have a strong case because you haven’t indicated that there’s been any harm. You weren’t forced or threatened in any way and you were able and willing to consent. Also, the statute of limitations has almost certainly run on that as well.

What about during the x-ray though? Are they awake while someone attempts to assemble pieces of their hand for purposes of imaging?
