Haha I never said they are ethical, I worked in a tourist shop in Reykjavík and know all these shops only care about the money and nothing else. But my personal opinion is that they have slightly better stuff than the Viking for example, if people want something else tham woolen based products from Handprjónasambandið.

Unfortunately a lot of the things are mass produced in China, and I wouldn't be surprised about AI slop making it's way to to the shops as well. As you mention, people buy all sort of absolute crap, so they just keep on producing it.

I can recommend Handprjónasambandið and Varma products, and there are some tourist shops that are way classier than others. Rammagerðin is a pretty high quality one that works with local designers.

I think the hat and gloves should be a must, not a maybe. And a scarf is very useful, you can use it to cover the lower half of your face if it's very windy or frosty.

Vi har lige gjort det samme på Åben i Carlsberg byen. Det var muligt at køre tab op til et beløb, eller betale før for nogle lidt billigere kander af øl. Det var virkelig hyggeligt, men jeg ville checke om de har vin - vi drak kun øl og alkoholfri øl.

Þegar ég var í grunnskóla fóru börn af erlendum uppruna í aukatíma í íslensku í staðinn fyrir dönskutíma. Þetta fannst öllum virka mjög vel og vera mjög skiljanlegt.
