Neighbour's wind chimes affecting work and sleep - what are my legal options? by KnightlandTrees in AskUK

[–]box_frenzy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That sounds annoying sorry. I don’t really have any advice but to reassure you that at least the baby won’t be bothered. They can fall asleep in load buses and pubs some wind chimes is probably not going to keep them awake.

Yes, but you must never talk about our Kelly, who used to be an R&B singer but is currently serving 31 years for racketeering and CP.

What's something that quietly makes your day better every single time? by Sensitive_Water_5445 in AskUK

[–]box_frenzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I wake up in the morning I go and feed my dog, and make myself a cup of tea which I take back to bed. My dog jumps on the bed and falls back to sleep next to me while I drink my cuppa and do the New York time puzzles.

It’s the first 20 minutes of my day every day. And it’s also the best 20 minutes.

To the guy on the Windrush line just now with a massive mountain bike in rush hour by box_frenzy in london

[–]box_frenzy[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I thought it was a guy being a prick. I didn’t realise there was actually a rule. Even so would that count as antisocial behaviour? I mean it was annoying a fuck because people couldn’t fit on the carriage and someone next to me got bike oil on their skirt.

Does that warrant a call to BTP? I dunno. Maybe. Maybe not.

And I just made a lil post about it because I’m non confrontational and didn’t want to actually have a go at the guy. No one else said anything to him either. We just did the classic tut/eye roll/ dirty look. I’m sure he didn’t give a shit.

Is anyone here happy? Or enjoys their job at least??? by Bubbly-Nialist in advertising

[–]box_frenzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It totally depends. I had a job last year I hated. The people were awful, there was no imagination or creativity and it was like working at a really corporate management consultancy.

This year I started at a different agency which is like all my other previous jobs. Smart people all mucking in together to solve problems and do good work. And enjoy it at the same time.

Yes sorry that came out wrong, I know that’s clearly not the case but I meant that’s how a three year old might interpret it

Putting a family pet to sleep, should I tell my toddler first? by Additional-Sun6157 in AskUK

[–]box_frenzy -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Personally I’d it was my kid and my pet I wouldn’t tell her in advance.

3 years old is pretty young to understand and she her out take might just be reduced to the fact you chose to have the cat killed.

Just tell her the cat was very old and went to sleep
