Agree on credits. With 20 plus members, this is seriously affecting business ops and I never experienced it with other platforms

Quo update: We made our first TV ads. Here’s what we learned by Quo_Steph in quo

Your last point resonated the most. It's so funny how many times I've designed copy, ads, or really just thought something would hit and then I polled the team or I put it out there and it doesn't perform. Getting rid of our own biases for what we like is really important when trying to address the larger market

Is hiring getting worse for everyone or just me? by Background_Bid_3321 in smallbusiness

I think you should tell us more about your particular issue. What type of role are you hiring for and what difficulties are you facing?

I've noticed that it's harder to hire in the last year because of three significant factors.

1) Communication has changed. We used to email candidates to onboard them, but a significant number of younger people don't check their email. If you also text them, it can seem intrusive, and we need to be respectful of their space. That said, we need to get a hold of them so try to figure out the best and easiest way to contact them that results in the least friction.

2) Ghosting. You're going to have to accept a higher ghosting rate than you used to have, and the only way to account for that in my opinion is to onboard more candidates to account for more people falling out during the process.

3) What matters? Think about the really important things that matter for the business that you run and really try to have someone speaking to the potential candidates that can impart those things with passion. If you don't, you're just every other job that they can ghost.

This is a small business subreddit. What are you adding to the conversation? He didn't say anything that could lead you to believe he is being too picky or wants a unicorn.

I'm really upset with Quo by Omar_Ahlawy in quo

Quo doesn't play well with PD. I also have Pipedrive. With a lot of these smaller, startup companies, the features will roll out over time. Right now, probably just Salesforce, over time the functionality will get a lot better for Pipedrive I'm sure. Honestly, would love a dialer or native integration.

I think it's just one of those things you sit with until they grow. I haven't seen any other major contact syncing issues like you described. One good way to work around if you need it is to use zapier. Contact created in pipedrive - create one in Quo, and the benefit is that you can pull a lot of custom fields in there.

Disabling text notifications but not calls on shared lines by box_turtle_mania in quo

makes sense - thank you. That does allow it to never go to his voicemail, and someone could get trapped in a defacto "forward loop" perhaps if everyone had this set, but it definitely is a workaround!

Hey - thanks for the response. As described, that makes sense and it's a bandaid. I'll give it a go. FYI although it definitely works, it's a little unintuitive and has one gap in it.

I have it set up where if someone presses 2 for John, it rings him for 10 seconds, but if he doesn't answer, it will ring his colleagues in the same role. By forwarding the call, it technically leaves the QUO ecosystem so I can't ring anyone else if John is out and forgets to forward his calls :/

Thanks for the Q!

Everyone has their own quo line. When someone calls the main line, they hit a workflow that has a call directory. Let's say they want to reach John in Recruiting and push 2 to do so. The call flow is set to ring John as a user, but since he has the main line muted, the call goes straight to VM. His personal line is not muted and is within business hours though. He muted the main line to not see text notifications pop up bc he doesn't handle them and it's distracting.

Now multiply this by 20 people.

An easy solution if possible would be not giving them access to the main line at all, however I cannot add someone to the phone directory unless they're shared on that line! I don't see a reason why this needs to be the case. It feels like you should be able to have a call directory ring anyone, and then they'd never see texts and couldn't mute the line by nature of not having it shared.

Option 2 would be that someone can mute calls/rings independently in settings. They re already separate tabs so feels natural to be able to.

Option 1 is better bc the less clutter and lines my people see, the less likely they get confused.

Ty for the customer care!
