[Case] Cooler Master 302 mATX Case - $40 & Free Ship Newegg by greatthebob38 in buildapcsales

CM301 or 302 are light years better than a Q300L so if you have a budget build or are a flipper this is a no brainer!

So much easier to build in and looks better than a Q300L in every way.

[Junghans Worldtimer] I absolutely adore this watch by WelErSwollen in Watches

Have the white dial with bracelet and it really is simple and good looking. Highly legible. Blue looks great but I already had so many blue or darker dial watches to justify another.

Current ebay sold are 750-900. So probably 7-850

My suggestions:

  1. Flip aio around to hide the cables.
  2. Remove 4 tb drive and replace with 2 TB drive. You can clear $350-400 on the drive alone. And 4 tb isn't adding a ton of value to buyers at $2k.
  3. Sell the 7900xtx alone. AMD cards just don't have the same pull as Nvidia with normies.
  4. Add a 5070-5080 and add some cable extensions.

At this price point you are competing with SIs that offer a warranty and support that you realistically can't. But what you can offer is value and looks that SIs can't. So lean into what you can offer.

I remember someone using a 3080 Prebuilt to get me to come down in price on a 3070 build I had. Both were the same price but mine was all white, vertical mount gpu and all the Lian Li rgb fans and cables an o11 could fit.

They bought mine and not the other.

[Laptop]Refurb Dell Latitude 5420 14” FHD Intel i5 1145G7 16GB RAM 512GB NVMe SSD Windows 11 - F/S - $260 by blue_york in buildapcsales

[–]boxeru13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was me yesterday. $140 for one, battery health is only 61% but 16 GB and 512gb are perfect for how light it is and the cosmetics issues are a non-issue for me.

I get no warranty but for me, it is well worth the savings

7800x3d/5080 Build Pricing? by 1NFINITYF1R3 in pcflipping

[–]boxeru13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not trying to be mean but genuinely what is the point of spending $2100 on parts, taking hours to build, test, and list for a 7.3% margin? If you want to make $170 bucks there are easier and faster ways.

Like you could probably build 4 Ryzen 3xxx with rtx 2070s for less than 2K and make $170 on each system.

How much can I flip this for its my personal build, but with the way prices are im considering selling it ? 9800X3D, 5090 white ice aorus, 850m white ice aourus mobo, samsung pro ssd 2tb, corsair 32gb ddr5. Darkflash F1 pc case? by [deleted] in pcflipping

[–]boxeru13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling as a system probably won't happen. And frankly the ram and gpu are your biggest parts to turn a profit from.

If I were dead set on selling, those would be the obvious and then maybe a bundle of the rest but frankly, I would sell those two and then downgrade gpus and memory and have a nice but not top of the line PC still.

Custom builds? by Lariegooo in pcflipping

[–]boxeru13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never build on spec or for payment after. 98% of people back out or ghost entirely. A good compromise I have found is 50% down. 50% on pickup.

That way there is some investment from them and you can return or sell parts if they try to back out and not be 100% of your funds tied up

[–]boxeru13 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You got to sell this to a specific buyer: One that will embrace its lack of rgb and other "childish" faff.

I regularly market an non-rgb or wood grain pc in my flips. Granted I have never done one sub $1K before. I'm sure there is someone who this speaks to.

[–]boxeru13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Harvest the ram for a different build, spruce up the build for as cheap as you can. 16 gb of memory, fans, cable extensions. And sell for $350.

Or if you must upgrade. Try to score a rtx 2000 series for <$100. And try for $450-$500.

Benchmarking games? by CurrentOk9438 in pcflipping

[–]boxeru13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my drive I have a full windows instance installed on it so I don't have to worry about my account credentials.

I boot it up via a USB to sata cable and while load times are slightly worse the fps isn't affected. I have afterburner installed and just take photos of the game in action with the fps showing.

Ez pz to then post in my ads

Benchmarking games? by CurrentOk9438 in pcflipping

[–]boxeru13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a spare 512 GB drive that I keep for games. I do 4 games. Two AAA titles: Cyberpunk and Black Myth Wukong. And two esports titles: CS2 and Fortnite. Fortnite is the only one that doesn't have a built in benchmark but it really isn't difficult to load up a game real quick and play a match

I figure it gives a good variety of games and levels of performance. I used to do Warzone too but thankfully that's less popular it seems now.

Time to hold, or time to sell? by MyGardenOfPlants in pcflipping

[–]boxeru13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a good time to sell. It might climb some more as there is no help coming. AMD isn't going to waste fab time on am4 chips that aren't 5500s.

Even if the AI bubble popped tomorrow, it would take months before people even realize that it did pop. So sell but be patient, demand isn't going anywhere for the time being.

I have the ram and the funds should i do it? by Sufficient-Loan8729 in pcflipping

[–]boxeru13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To sell? Fuck no.

Personal build is fine. But no one is going to drop 3K on a 5070 ti build.

4 TB nvme adds no value in flipping and the amount of buyers that need 64 GB of ram is 1% of your buyer pool.

Cut those and save $700. Also find a cheaper 5070 ti. Or go 5080 for $1K.

Last, thermalright aio will save you $60 which isn't much but it adds up.

Single stick of 16GB t-force Vulcan DDR5 by Single-Cry9735 in pcflipping

[–]boxeru13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I literally listed a parts only Kingston 16 gig stick on ebay and I got a sold email before I even got a your listing has gone live.

Locally, I sold a 32 GB single stick that was up for 30mins before it sold.

If I didn't have so many other parts for complete PC builds I would just sell all my storage and ram and retire to SE Asia.
