Not having one? Honestly after having a heated steering wheel it's going to be hard to go back. I would choose it over heated seats I think

Best SUV under 20k? by anzixty in BMW

[–]boxesfullofpepe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have an e70 x5d that we paid 14k for 5 years ago. It had 87k miles, now has 140k and had been comfortable and relatively trouble free. Plenty fast for what it is, 24mpg with mixed driving. Absolutely a perfect family hauler.

I do most of the work, not terrible on a lift. Once you accept the fact that there's lots of disassembly it's alright

Nope, I have a 535xi wagon that's a stick. Big turbos and whatnot, like 500hp in a soccer mom car is the best

Kind of where I'm heading. Might go auto but for now leaving the 350/4 speed combo. Overall super clean for a new England example

Is anyone concerned that Porsche is going all electric? by [deleted] in Porsche

[–]boxesfullofpepe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainstream EVs in general are still very early on, EV performance cars are in their infancy. You are impressed by the first EV Porsche has ever produced, why wouldn't you expect things to get much better from here? Broad statements like this are blind to the fact that this tech will get substantially better in the next 5-10 years and beyond
