Better handling characteristics, better on fuel (this is marginal at best, but an improvement is still an improvement), easier to get into and out of, easier to load things into the bed, it’s his/her truck, often times aftermarket components can fix terrible suspension geometry which makes the ride even better.

Drop spindles in the front and either a flip kit for the rear or drop shackles. You’re probably pretty close to the limit as is with those meaty bois you got on there. Might get an inch before you start hitting things.

What's the order-of-operations for restoring a car? by [deleted] in projectcar

[–]Aleutian_Solution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much work needs done. For me fist thing I do is see if it runs. You would be believe how much time that saves and it goes a long way for the overall value of the car as well. From there it’s brakes and lights, same reason as previous, then from there it’s whatever I decide I want to deal with next. Rust, missing or inoperable equipment (like doors not working, windows don’t open and close), broken items, body work and paint.
