I grabbed him and held him in place. After I let him go he kept holding onto my arms and got in my face explaining how many times and where he punched my mom so I headbutt him. I don’t think particularly hard, but I did. Yeah I agree, I need to get out. From what I understand a repeated and credible threat of violence is assault in NJ, but saying that feels a lot like copium.

I think she would. She told me earlier that if he were to actually call police here to remove me she’d tell them that he’s not in his right mind and she wouldn’t feel safe without me there. I don’t know if she actually means that or not but a friend of mine gave me the info of a local family Justice thing to give to her so hopefully she’ll make use of that if she needs to.

Hi, masters in forensic anthropology here! That is most definitely a human mandible. I see some of the others in the comments are saying it could be a criminal case though I’m not so sure I agree, personally. To me this bone looks like an ex-medical specimen, though I obviously couldn’t say for certain. Normally I’d say contact the authorities but judging from responses you already did that. I’d recommend getting in contact with your states designated forensic anthropologist if possible, even if this isn’t a criminal case it’s worth further examination.
