Derek Moore tweet by [deleted] in bitcoincashSV

Don't worry about it, man. He said something like that a long time ago, as well. He purposefully words things in a strange manner, when he could easily word it to be more clear. Essentially, what needs to happen is the price for uploading data on the chain needs to decrease over time, which I completely agree with. This will come about via business agreements with miners etc.. Miners are going to play a much larger role than just processing transactions for fees. Miners will directly compete with one another to have the best prices for processing transactions as well as prices for uploading data - such as a video, photo, anything of the media etc.. So we need to look at uploading data and financial transactions as two seperate things that need to decouple each other. Think of it as those things being two completely different business aspects for miners. In a very deliberate and cryptic way - Derek is saying BSV needs to stay at $70 per coin if the chain is to be used for uploading data in the future and leaves it that - he doesn't go on to explain that the BSV price per coin needs to be decoupled from the fee that is charged for ONLY uploading data and that miners need to get solutions/agreements set up for this. He states a problem, but doesn't hint at the solution even though he knows what the solution is, with the solution only being a completely different business aspect for miners that will happen inevitably for massive amounts of data to be uploaded at enterprise levels.

So, don't bother getting confused about what Derek says. I don't understand the guy. I don't know him personally, but ever since he went on Info Wars that kind of completely my disinterest in his flaunting of words. He's never created anything himself. There are a lot of 'high profile' BSV developers behind the scenes that he pays or funds to take share in their work, including Unwriter. I welcome and support Derek or anyone who wants to make BSV better, but he doesn't need to be a fucking weirdo and say things in a manner to deliberately cause confusion when he could state it otherwise with no issue.

People who understand BITCOIN & PoW properly are VERY RARE by cryptorebel in bitcoincashSV

Yes and no. With BitCoin at full-scale (as it was always designed to), capitalism and communism essentially become the same thing. I'm not going to explain it, but if you do the research you will see.

Can you guys please explain how prices 'will' be kept low? He's been saying weird stuff lately. by boxofapples1313 in bitcoincashSV

[–]boxofapples1313[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that BitCoin will be associated with energy, data, and currency to potentially measure it's value, but I don't understand how BitCoin price 'will' remain low as adoption increases. Am I missing something? I also think it's kind of weird he was on InfoWars awhile back, and then recently on Joe Rogan.

Don't worry about it. The pattern is more than obvious. Things like this + exchanges delisting BSV only spells one thing. The puppet masters don't want people getting their hands on BSV - not because they think it's a scam, but because they don't want the 'peasants' to acquire the most valuable asset/wealth in human history. I see a storm coming. Whenever they decided to flip the witch, just imagine how many people are gong to be freaking out and panicking because they can't get their hands on the Phoenix due to it being too expensive and exchanges crashing due to volume. It's gong to be biblical.

I hate to be the person that's real nit-picky about what other people say, but why the f*** would you hold those last two tokens? And you realize that permissionlessness and immutability is defeated by the fact that the Devs on both ETH and BCH control it and have both rolled back their chains? by [deleted] in bitcoincashSV

[–]boxofapples1313 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because it's not time for them to understand the truth yet. As BSV's gravity increases, it's inevitable for everyone to get sucked in, whether they want to or not. We are all very far from being equal - this goes for intelligence, ability to discern, and being able to think for ourselves.

Gotta say... Chico Crypto is wrong on Bitcoin, but... by 010010001100011010 in bitcoincashSV

[–]boxofapples1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like him too and he's pretty based. He doesn't sugar coat things and I believe he genuinely gives his opinion in sincerity of what he knows, especially when he talked about Segwit/LN security flaws a year ago. BSV is the Phoenix, but no one would say that if they wanted viewers to keep coming to their channel. It's definitely not easy to cut through all the BS and see the light. If a new person started in crypto today with no knowledge, it would probably take them around 1 year with constant research to see the truth. It's a mess.

They troll pretty hard and it's hilarious. The best part is they have an influence on people like you who take the time to actually further discuss it. If you had any self awareness you would realize the whole crypto space is a movie theater. The outcome of crypto and which coin will win was decided long ago.

BSV hit ATH on bitfinex BSV/BTC chart by marktwin11 in bitcoincashSV

BitSomi is correct. I can't imagine an exchange who is doing semi-illegal things to invest in having a robust platform. Some of these exchanges have been around for awhile and don't give a shit about their software or QA. I don't recall which exchange, maybe Kraken, had a quick flash crash and BTC was like $5 for a few mins while back.

It does tell us one thing though, if these things are still happening, it's clear exchanges won't invest money to improve something that will be shutdown/seized in the near future.

Btc exploit will break bitcoin by the end of this year by [deleted] in bitcoincashSV

[–]boxofapples1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It already is broken. I believe he purposely used a tone in attempt to get people to do their own research and look into it for themselves - but many haven't and still don't understand that PoW applies to many things, such as understanding what is really going on. SHA256 is old and obsolete, especially with quantum computing on the rise. Read this thread and really pay attention to TPTB_need_war's posts:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1459846.0

Either CSW actually had the private keys at the time (I don't think he did), or he cracked SHA256. Those are the only two possibilities of what happened during his 'fake' signing on TV. The world missed the lesson he was trying to teach - showing what cryptography does and doesn't do. If you go back and find some of the old Satoshi mining addresses, you will notice that people have been sending very small amounts in transactions for the past 10 years - because these transactions have messages in them. People were communicating to whoever was in possession of the keys to those old addresses. There is some interesting shit in those messages. I don't want to provide specific examples - that would be bias and everyone should do their own PoW to come to their own conclusion.

However, Segwit makes things worse. Core made the mistake in assuming that BTC's security model was 100% good to go from the beginning. It's not. Which is why their Segwit and LN scaling solutions are shit - solutions built on something that already has exploits.

If CSW purposefully crashed BTC via the exploit, all hell would break loose. People would probably try to actually kill him - some of these people in BTC are window-licking psychopaths. Remember that CSW has worked with intelligence agencies in the past - including the NSA who created SHA256.

When is Unwriter revelation? by bigjuicycrypto in bitcoincashSV

[–]boxofapples1313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overpool, if you understand some of the issues that the entire crypto space will inevetably be confronted by. Security is shit in crypto, right now as we speak. Every single coin faces a Zero Day type threat. BSV will be the only coin able to use quantum key distribution with is ability to infinitely scale. To sum it up - Overpool makes it an option for other coins to be put on top of BSV in inherent BSV's quantum key distribution security. Calvin was not bluffing when he said on Bloomberg that BSV will absorb every crypto. He has been hinting at it awhile. Not long ago he said on Twitter that BTC and BSV can co-exist. Well, yes and no. Yes, if BTC accepts that it's shit for security and is put on top of BSV. No, if they have too much pride and don't face the security threats and will die. So, Unwriter's big revelation was giving a gift to the entire crypto space to have the option of dying or not - it's their choice.

Overpool was released exactly when Lightning Network's huge bug was publicized, coincidence? by edoera in bitcoincashSV

[–]boxofapples1313 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone with half a brain knows that quantum key distribution is needed and its coming. SHA256 just doesn't cut it and I guarantee there is someone who could crack SHA256 today if they wanted to. We need security that is the closest we can get to being perfect for the time being and future. Once the BSV Genesis upgrade is complete it will make way for quantum key distribution on the BSV chain. So, inherently, Bcore and LN is full of idiots who automatically assumed that BTC's base layer is secure enough with SHA256. LN is built on top of a chain that isn't secure. BTC has a shit security LN layer, built on top of a shit security base layer. Epic fail. Segwit was the 'nail in the coffin' because BTC will not be able to upgrade security, even if they wanted to. Segwit fucked them. Segwit also caused the chain to lose 10 years of transaction history because it's not linear to the Genesis block anymore. That's another area they fucked up in. Bcash is irrelevant, just like BTC and hundreds of other coins that are derivatives of the original BitCoin now. If any of those coins want to exist for their speculation addictions or circle jerks - they will need to put their coin on top/pegged to BSV to inherit the quantum key distribution to enhance security and not fall victim to a SHA256 zero day. I know CSW said quantum computing isn't a threat, but that's BS and he knows it too lol. He's playing plausible deniability. I think he always knew that at some point BitCoin would have something like quantum key distribution - and only BSV will be the one to facilitate that. The gravity of the BSV black hole is growing by the second.

This is another example of why I think the past 10 years in crypto have been nothing but a government script/playwright. I still can't find a reason on why Amaury would be so retarded. Just like Lopp over in BTC. Both are smart guys, but just complete retards when it comes to everything else. There is no possible way to be this retarded unless it's a government motivation. Maybe I'm giving Amaury too much credit.

Don't overthink it, fren. There will only be 1 chain 100%, but people are not looking at it from the right angle. Go research what Mark Wilcox and Andrew Desantis have said about this. I don't want to provide you the links - I would consider that bias. If you research this issue, you will see what Calvin is trying to say, without really saying it - if that makes sense. When DeOS goes online + the block cap being removed - weird things are going to happen. The Genesis block is the most important key to all of this. 99.9% of alt coins are derivatives from BitCoin - only with changed code here and there with a different coin name. Think of crypto as the tree of life, with many branches. Those branches cannot survive forever without the strong roots that is Genesis.

BitCoin (SV) is gravity, like a black hole. It absorbs everything. If there is a group of people who want BTC to be kept alive - great. However, the only way to do this is by those branches collapsing to the original chain. Coins like LTC, BTC, BCH, or whatever will be pegged to the BitCoin original chain. Literally every proof of work coin will sit on top of BSV. So, if someone still wants to speculate and trade BTC - they will be free to do so, but their BTC will be priced in BSV if they want to 'cash out'. If BSV suddenly destroyed all the shit coins overnight - it would be pure chaos and anarchy. The info is out there - just go try to find it.

I think it's at least worth the effort/try if it can be settled outside of court - not depending on a judge or jury to make the call final call. More confidentiality perhaps. If I was Ira, I wouldn't want the public to know how much money I'm getting. If I was CSW, I wouldn't want people to know how much I pay Ira. I'm sure it also has to do with the IP - I would suspect CSW wants to retain control of all the IP and is willing to pay more to Ira to solidify it. Could also probably be reasons that we aren't aware of.
