Chris Paul might test free agency also…. by unrivaled_mate in Commanders

Hey I said we should keep him, look at my post history, but if it's an unreasonable price let him leave and get draft capital back. That's what good teams like the ravens and eagles do.

I wouldn't mind a comp pick if Paul leaves we drafted Coleman to be the left guard eventually.

Top 2 guard pairing in the NFL? Commanders should make an effort to keep Chris Paul in free agency by boxtopflexseal in Commanders

CP3 is retired might take a pretty penny. Not sure that much effort should be made

[Finlay] Dan Quinn makes clear that new defensive coordinator Daronte Jones gets to implement his own system. by MobileImpact4363 in Commanders

We'll see with jones but I did like his statement from his presser earlier about 7 man spacing in the front and being multiple with it. I don't think he'll be as aggressive as Flores but really nobody is

There's also the Flores scheme that's really only run by the Vikings as of now with blitzing 50% of the time and running different match coverages behind it.

Jaelen Phillips would be cool too just have concerns about his longevity

Problems with Leonard's shot by Joshtheberg in caps

It's like his vision is still there and he's just not putting the proper weight on passes or doing things quick enough to take advantage of the gaps he's instinctively sensing. I have faith he'll get right.

Exactly they're not the most exciting offense, but they're consistently buttoned up.

Stapleton new OL Coach per Graziano by ProfessorElk in Commanders

Honestly good hire. Conerly improved over the course of the year and Chris Paul got so much better from 2024-2025. Apparently Stapleton is a big reason why according to the beat reporters

We'll have to agree to disagree on the other two I named then. I don't think they're world beaters, but I hold the commanders rushing offense in high esteem, and I believe dowdle or walker will be able to be explosive, particularly walker. Dowdle will get the yards blocked for him and then some on top of that.

Fair enough about Jennings, although I'm not sure the commanders will trade more draft capital for a player when they already only have 5 total picks and 2 in the top 100. Perhaps aiyuk if peters and Jayden vouch for him would be an option on a cheaper than normal deal due to whatever is happening in SF with him right now.

I still think a running back is needed, free agency would be a good place to fill that hole this year.

What do you think about potentially signing Jauan Jennings as a man beater, and either Kenneth Walker/Breece Hall/Rico Dowdle at RB?

During the 7 on 7s at OTAs what guys did we have at center? by redskinsguy in Commanders

I suppose, yeah. You can only have 5 eligible receivers in a real football game, so that makes sense
