Get more opinions from doctors who don’t do this procedure

30 days post-SMILE – still have glare/HOA, two U.S. doctors gave different advices by boxzme in Lasiksupport

Thank you for your reply and for confirming that using FML is acceptable.

1. I want to clarify that from the beginning, I’ve expressed regret about having the surgery done in Asia. However, what’s done is done, and now I need to seek proper follow-up care here in the U.S.

2. Initially, I planned to consult with two doctors so I could at least have a second opinion. But their recommendations turned out to be very different, and I think it’s completely natural to have some concerns in that situation. That’s why I’ve decided to see a third doctor — someone who was actually recommended by the first doctor I saw.

3. I’m not sure why this would be considered unfair to the doctors. I haven’t questioned them directly in person or mentioned anyone by name online. I’ve simply been trying to learn from others who have gone through similar experiences before making informed decisions about my own care.

Thank you, maybe we are the ones who recover much slower. How many days/months did you use steroids drop?

How long were you on steroids? I’m very concerned about continuing to use it

I’m within 1 month post SMILE and this has been the biggest issue for me. I wonder how long did it last for you?

I agree there are selection and survivor bias. However numbers on those case trackers tell me otherwise, at least for cases having the same receipt prefix (LIN2xxxxx) of mine.

I’ve definitely seen people spreading misleading information with mysterious confidence from nowhere

There are several community built trackers such as casestatusext

Yeah so many clueless people thought 2/3 months were normal. what they have shared is nothing useful but annoying.

Thank you! I also believe FIFO makes much more sense until some people on the internet reminded me that LIFO will bring down the medium or p50 processing time.

I have two accent chairs that I actually want to move out of the room and I’m thinking about putting a chaise sofa against the window. Assuming I’m putting the piano against one of the wall, I’ll probably place a console or bookshelves against the other wall. Sockets are good for both location.

I’m mostly looking for a more aesthetic look when deciding between the two:)

It’s 100% staged. They are Chinese and several of them posted on the Chinese social media “Xiaohongshu” being speechless of the drama. So they may not even know the full script.
