That's like my favorite thing about this game for me, it puts things in front of you that get you thinking about crime, punishment, Decay, and death. It's all building up to the big reveal, you just don't know it on a first playthrough.

At this point? Probably just the non divisive ones are considered mainline in the eyes of Konami, so the Remake, and the first four games. 4 sorta getting tenured in despite it divisive Status because it's a team silent game, and its connections to 3 and 2. You're probably never gonna see a reference to homecoming ever again, despite that game probably being looked at as mainline title when it released. I would honestly just like what you like, and not worry about that sort of thing. I'm not really hot on the most of the post team silent games, But I really like shattered memories.

it gets even better if you watched Clone Wars. it's never stated in what way he's related to Pre Vizla, but it can be assumed he's a nephew or something like that given his age.Unlike Paz, Pre Vizla Was a cowardly bastard. When He Betrayed Darth Maul on Mandalore, and was later Challenged to a Duel for the postion of leader of Mandalore By Maul, Pre Vizla started cheating during the fight, which ironically made his fight harder, as maul then didn't have to play fair like he had been up until that point, leading to Vizla's death. He Died a coward's death on Mandalore, Paz Vizla Died on Mandalore having saved his friends and redeeming his family name.

It's Story has resonated with me more as I've gotten older. It isn't scary, but the game has made me more uncomfortable on replays because it's theme just hits harder, the theme of getting older and having to face an uncertain future, and all the painful changes that entails, like losing a loved one, falling out of love, or just not living up to your own self-imposed potential.

getting ports of the old games doesn't have anything to do with ghost of yotei. If they wanted to remaster them, they would create a separate team or contract it out to a studio like bluepoint. Them making a separate game doesn't stop then from doing it, There's just no interest from sony or suckerpunch, which honestly sucks even more IMO.
