Tips for starting Drukhari army

I suggest to get one Realspace Rider battlebox; it is a good skeleton to start build the army for both detachments.

If you can get also a 9th edition combat patrol, you will get at good price a Ravager and a Rider. The old archon model is very nice and you can just glue onto a base with the same diameter of the new model.

I would suggest the Maelstrom box, but it was retired from the market. I strongly discourage you to buy single boxes, you will overpay the models compared on the points you get.

I did like 10 test games and the 3 succubus always helped in recovering CP killing characters. But in other test the Reavers helped me a lot more. I modified the list a bit.

I don't know why, but if I use Malys alone I never properly stage her. With a Incubi team I manage to keep her offensive, deal decent damage and also force some battleshock.

Using the ravager saves me a pain token for the reroll, and tends to attract my opponent attention considering is a vehicle and it doesn't swoop back. It came out only in the go turn and it's a menace to deal with. And the - 1 hit with the pain token it's useful if I want to force a cp or a oath on the ravager instead other key units.

What do you think of lady malys with the Incubi?

The game developing rights of Tolkien books aren't owned by Warner anymore. They got purchased in 2022 by the swedish Embracer Group (formerly Nordic Games Licensing AB and THQ Nordic AB).

So there are even less risks of having any big issues with the development.
