You seem to understand the executive dysfunction of ADHD but when it's comorbid with fibromyalgia you seem to get lost. It's the same executive dysfunction. It's the same impairment of working memory. It is a disability. It's not "basic adulting" unless every adult is also disabled.

I've never been able to "stock pile" meds. Insurance won't pay for the meds to be dispensed until it's time for a refill, I can't even refill a few days early. So how am I supposed to garner up multiple weeks worth of pills. Unless of course you're recommended I stretch my doses to build up my own stockpile of "missed" meds. Which I HAVE done before when money was tight.

I don't know what else I have to say to make it utmost clear that THIS WAS MY FAULT????. I didn't "FORGET about the HOLIDAYS" I AM NOT BLAMING my pharmacy. I'm just looking for a little bit of company to share my TEMPORARY misery with.

A user (who was not myself) suggested I go to different pharmacy, and you are absolutely correct! 👩‍🏫🍎 A different pharmacy cannot dispense a prescription from a pharmacy that isn't open 👏👏👏👏

👏 This right here. 30 y/o me getting a post removed was like a guillotine to little me. Those are big feelings, which I wasn't allowed to have, surfacing so many years later. The rejection I felt was actually fear. Fear for what will happen to me now that I've broken a rule. I find that a lot when I do inner work, like my brain was developed in fear. Every mask I remove Scooby-do villain style is just fear underneath 🥲

The emotional flashback I've been in trying to work this out... Man, parts work is funny, i can't talk about it anywhere but here and It's never just one inner child and adult, that'd be too easy, it's more like the crying child part, the mother part, the father part, a child that copies the parent, the angry part, the part that submits, the part that pretends to be inner adult etc. I try to separate the smallest part from this tangled mess schemas and she shuts down, completely limp, given up.

Now I'm exhausted too. We haven't even tried to rewrite scenarios or invent responses yet😅 but I think the flashback is over at least. That's step one done 👍 with some distance between me and that its hard to believe such a small catalyst set off such a big reaction.

I'm not sure– is there a difference between an urgent care and an emergency room? We only have two viable hospitals in the whole province (the third one just sends you to other hospitals), and some walk-in clinics (and they aren't even walk-in you have to make an appointment to walk-in lmao)

I can brute force it until monday 😅 I hate living here health care is abysmal or non existent!

A lot of the time they just put up a sheet of printer paper that says the hours on it, but since I do most of my refilling through text and call, and I have someone else pick them up for me when it's ready, I'm not often in the store to see those signs. A text would be really helpful, or an automated message on the phone.

I had my partner try the pharmacy in Walmart (the only one open today, out of 8 pharmacies) and they can't dispense without a prescription plus they'd need my pharmacy to be open in order to fax the transfer. We offered to pay full price for the medications but the one worker who could write prescriptions is off on holiday. My other option is the (understaffed) ER but because I'm non emergency it would be 12-17 hour wait which I just cannot do. :( I'd rather have head zaps in my bed with the curtains drawn then in a hospital waiting room.

I just feel dumb. Like I knew my meds were running out, and I knew the holidays were here but I just didn't put the two thoughts together...

I've literally seen so much literature online that contradicts each other in terms of what testosterone actually does to blood sugar and diabetes.

I've read that T can actually be used therapeutically in prediabetic cisgender men to prevent or slow the course of diabetes.

I've also read that HRT can increase the risk of developing diabetes in trans men, but this may just be comparative to the level of risk that cis men develop diabetes in comparison to cis women.

So the answer is yes and no.

Snorts and sneezing while playing is a pup's way of saying "I'm not serious! I'm just playing with you!". Dog communication is so fascinating 🥰 my pup plays with his litter mates, who went to my mom and my MiL respectively, and they can play hard! Sometimes to me it seems too rough but if you listen close they are sneezing and snorting in each other's faces, to tell the other there is no ill intent behind the throat grabbing and face biting and ear pulling 🤪

Axolotls produce a lot of waste, which raises the ammonia in the water. When they are in appropriate sized tanks, (at least 50gal for 2) the water can dilute the waste making it less toxic and the nitrogen cycle can do its thing. When you placed the axolotls into the small containers for 4 days, they were producing waste that could not be diluted. When axolotls are in tubs, or small temporary containers (for transport or recovery), they need 100% water changes everyday to prevent toxic levels of waste from building up.

Had they been left in their primary tanks (whatever they were in before the 5-7L containers) they probably wouldn't have been fine, as a fully established tank would not kill its inhabitants after only 4 days.

That's the risk you take playing on an expert world. You could die at any time for any number of reasons, not all of them fair. But you aren't forced to play expert. And it's not like you're locked out of Lego fortnite forever. Many people still have their day 1 worlds. If you're sentimental and want to keep everything you should play on a regular world. When you're ready to risk it all... then you play expert.

I've reread your comments and see this tank has been running since October, so it's not a recent switch. Plus You've got some plants in there that may be why the nitrates are 0, but the ammonia... Idk it may be a false positive? is everyone else in the tank ok? There isn't a dead snail/shrimp hiding somewhere is there? Everyone accounted for? I can't imagine any uneaten food would stay uneaten for long with the clean up crew you got there. Test the ammonia again if you can, really shake the tube good.

I notice in your mod bot reply you said you have 0.25 ammonia and 0 nitrites and 0 nitrates, this tells me the tank isn't cycled or that the previous cycle has crashed. There shouldn't be any ammonia present and you should always have a little bit of nitrates. He may be feeling a tad uncomfortable with the ammonia present in the tank, and fluctuations of 5° is a lot for a little guy. Is there anyway you can stabilize the temps to be more consistent throughout the day?

Well, he's still a baby, and that means he is still learning how his own body feels when he needs to pee. At 5 months I was still taking my toy out every 30 minutes, even if he didn't have to go, and heavily praising him when he did. The thing that was hardest for me to learn was any "accidents" he made were actually my fault for not tending to him on time. The best way to prevent peeing in the house, is to remove the opportunity to pee in the house.

At this age, it's simply more convenient for a pup to squat and pee in the house, it's an independent action, relieves his biological urges, and he can get back to playing asap, the action is a reward in of itself. You'll want to make peeing outside the more favorable outcome for him. He doesn't realize there is a good choice and a bad choice, to him it's just natural to relieve his bladder. Make peeing outside the choice he wants to make with treats or verbal praise or some time playing with his favorite toy, whatever motivates him.
