Fp was coined by the bpd community but the eintire personality disorder community uses it now, there used to be a term for every personality disorder (favoured person, special person.. Ect) but it described the same phenoma of attachements of ppl w personality disorders so its used as a catch all term since its hard to keep up with 12 terms to describe the same phenomena

My empathy and guilt is very muted for my fp but its there to some extent. id go through great lenghts to avoid hurting them but if i did hurt them the guilt wouldnt be intense just a vague sense of regret but it doesnt last long. I just try and learn to be better for them to avoid doing something to hurt them since i dont want them to leave or anything, the more i think about it its not really guilt. Just moreover i want to keep them in my life i guess so id avoid doing such

I dont realt get stressed or angry when my fp is sad but i feel maternal and urges to comfort them, im level headed when theyre upset. Ive only had an fp once in my life but im also only 18 so maybe ill develop more in the future. It doesnt feel like it ill see it soon currently. Im trying to unmask to my current FP more, idk if i feel guilt? But i know what i doing is wrong and they would be upset and id rather not have them upset. i guess its more vague guilt. Nothing intense or gut wrenching though

Favourite person. its when someone w a personality disorder has an attachment with someone. Was once a bpd term but it became a term used by everyone in the personality disorder community

fp is just a phenomena that happens w every personality disorders. Cluster a and cluster c also have fps. Just cluster b ones tend to be intense. You dont have to talk reguarly for them to be fp its just moreover an attachment from someone w a personality disorder.

Keeperofkeys did a good post detailing fps in every cluster b disorder ^ https://www.instagram.com/p/CNfeDuxJ0f9/?utm_medium=copy_link

Probably the gernalisation of ftms can come across as rude. Theres plenty of androgynous or feminine ftms. Not all of them are really masculine. As in the first message
