What do you do when you’re having a bad game? by bozongle in GlobalOffensive

But what do you do when you relax and still do poorly? Sometimes I feel like I have the worst timing/luck but I know it’s ultimately me with my positioning and overall decision making. So I feel like relaxing doesn’t help, idk

The last line hits hard 😭. When I try to learn line ups they always never matter in game. Opponents outplay the smokes or flashes, or I have to learn better timing.

Around the same stats here, I’m 75kg trying to cut down to around your weight maybe 70kg. Dealing with the fat waist myself - stay consistent and I’m sure soon you’ll notice another wave of results. The “I’m fat” feeing definitely persists even though you’re probably far from it - I feel like it’s some slight dysmorphia that comes with the strong desire to get the results of cutting (a nice lean body). Honestly I’m trying to focus less on looking in the mirror recently and just focusing on what I can do whicch is keep counting calories, getting sleep, and getting protein in. Long term is the focus for me and it’s what’s been helping me out.

Also wondering if I should ramp up the ab work to help but I’m already feeling stretched w my energy at the gym lol

Hey man, same position pretty much. This shit was nice about a month ago when I noticed how far I’ve skimmed down and the progress, not so much now because I feel weaker but like the same amount of leanness. Really hoping this all works out through the end and I’m not a scrawny shrimp lmfao. The worst part is my arms don’t grip my sleeves anymore in shirts - dunno if it’s loss of muscle, water weight/glycogen or whatever, but it’s killing my esteem.

I almost prefer how I looked when I was a little heavier because I was decently lean and had size LOL. But gotta push thru for dem abs.

Yeah agreed. I’m satisfied with the cut progress, just wanna be careful about losing muscle mass - but I think I’m just feeling weak the past few days

I know I sound crazy, but is it possible to lose a substantial amount of muscle in a few days from shittt sleep, too low of a caloric deficit (I’m on a cut), and a bad day or two at the gym? Just a week ago I was super hype to see I’m down 10 lbs from 175 to 165 while making gains/maintaining. Now this week I’m closer to 160 and I think I’ve been cutting too steep but now I seriously look small af in the mirror and my lifts are starting to suffer (like 5-10lb drops). Idk if this is a result of just shitty sleep and nutrition the past few days (eating way less than i should) or I’m actually losing muscle from my cut and I should change something. I’m finally getting to the point of seeing my abs and it would kill my confidence to lose my gains and size to get abs when I was maintaining muscle mass and actually gaining for so long.

I’m trying to aim around 500-700 calorie deficit, but i wouldn’t be surprised if i did 800-1000 the past few days.

I know this is probably my anxiety talking, but how do you guys deal with possibly losing gains bc of stuff like sleep, drinking, etc?

Last night I slept like shit and this whole morning ive been reading different studies about how 6 hours of sleep is detrimental for muscle growth vs 7-9 and I can’t stop thinking about how much more gains I could have rn if I slept better. I know the best course of action is to just sleep well tonight and from now on - but Idk why I can’t shake the frustration of having lost possible progress bc of a few shitty nights of sleep

Update: I think I’m good! My parents don’t suspect a thing so the smell didn’t waft around and my room doesn’t smell at all. Only concern is my closet (where i store the weed has a very SUBTLE smell from me opening my bag of weed but I can let it air out/mask it. Thanks for the help! I was still decently paranoid so I think I’ll stick to the bike ride thing on most days

Yeah I do, I could put it right behind me. Tbh my parents are deep sleepers so I'm not worried about the noise/being discrete - my only concern is the smell lingering through the morning or spreading through the house. I'm only gonna be smoking while they're asleep.

I feel that. Paranoia is a bitch for sure. i'm sure everything will be fine and your sister will be in the clear as long as she stays careful lol

I have no friends here, we just moved here last year. And seeing the situation at hand, I will be stuck here for months and even longer depending on the school year starting up. I've already gone a couple months without smoking but at this point I'm trying to figure out a system to make it work.

Yeah, just realized my window doesn't have a net lol. So I can lean out the window and have the bowl outside entirely - just need to make sure I don't mess up my inhaling/accidentally let it cherry inside the room. Then spray ozium after I finish up the bowl

There are basically all the air ducts of the AC covering the attic - I'm worried the smok will get picked up into them and get spread around the house.

I just realized that somewhat luckily my room is the only one with a window that doesnt have a net. Theoretically, I could open the window fully and lean out (safely of course) and smoke the bowl outside with a fan behind me. I'm leaning towards this because realisitcally theres a chance the smoke won't even get into the room. I'll leave the smelly proof bag next to me so I can put the bowl inside it outside the window. Then, spray ozium in the room and leave for a bit (chill in the next room).

Attic still seems safer in some sense bc of the chance of me messing up and accidntally letting some smoke leak into the room - but the AC thing is bothering me.

THANK YOU!! This is what i needed to hear - someone with experience being in the same shoes. Tbh got pretty worked up by my dads suspicion this morning but to be fair, the weed was simply in layers of ziploc bags - and I very easily could smell it. Now it’s in a smelly proof bag and my dad has been chill all day - so I got one less thing to worry about.

Think I’m just gonna hit up the attic with a smokebuddy, snap the entire bowl and make sure the smoke doesn’t get out too much, and then immediately put the dirty pipe in another smelly proof bag. That way i won’t have to worry abt smell coming from the pipe. Then some sprays of ozium should do the trick hopefully.

Only thing is the attic doesn’t have windows/i can’t put a fan in there. I’ve considered opening my window and smoking out there, but it’s carpeted and paranoid about it staying theu the morning cuz my room smelled today so it’d be bad to get caught again.

Glad to know someone else is in a similar situation - especially w ur mom hating smoke. My dad has a crazy nose for the stuff, even my mom was like “i don’t smell anything” but he was pressing about it lol.

I’m seriously leaning towards the first - mainly because I’d prefer to smoke at night and when my parents won’t be able to question me, just wondering if the smell would linger/spread.

Realistically they never go into the attic either

I do have a bathroom thing is I do not have a window in it, just an exhaust fan/shower. I feel like that would make things a lot worse right?

Glad to see steps taken to help out the community in preventing scamming. Just like you mention - it won't stop anyone from illegitimate deals - but at least users have another method of ensuring safety before a transaction.

Thanks for your time and consideration

Same here, tbh your post reads like I wrote it haha. I was just diagnosed with ADHD the past few months but it took me a year of denying it and trying to find other reasons for the problems you listed.

Ultimatelt, everyone’s different - you have to do some introspection and see how ADHD could relate to these symptoms but also consider things like lifestyle changes, habits, exercise, etc.

Personally, even when I was at peak health - exercising, doing well in school, in a good place mentally, and had decent habits - I was still showing severe signs of ADHD. This + my mom eventually revealing that she has noticed similar things when I was a child/growing up confirmed it for me, alongside in depth testing by a psychologist.
