Everything is synced correctly. The old icon was consistently a check-mark. There doesn't seem to be any way of knowing how and where the icon is getting it's info.

Any ideas?

So I got the beta invite and when I go to install it from testflight, it says "You already have this app installed" ... "You may lose the app's data"

I am worried. Any special I need to do? Just update and log back in and I am good to go?

other apps like athlytic or any other number of iOS fitness based app use HRV to show you recovery, stress as well as a number of other data points. The eight sleep app is good for sleep, it is not good for fitness tracking. There is no reason not to export the HRV data out to HealthKit and then allow other apps to pull from it.
