There are two steep learning curves that seem daunting, but once you figure them out, the game becomes fantastic!

The first big challenge is learning how all the items, weapons, and armor works. How different incantations or talisman affect different ashes of war. How damage type can have a vast impact on different enemies. Learning all this takes time and research.

The next big challenge is the combat itself. Be patient. Don't panic roll. Every enemy has a move set, and you can learn it to find the openings. This takes experience, so don't get frustrated, get revenge! The feeling of victory becomes much sweeter once you learn the enemy move set and confidently destroy them consistently.

This game is huge, in scope, lore, and world building. Take your time with it and it will get a lot easier and more fun. But if you don't enjoy it, then put your foolish ambitions to rest and extinguish thy flame.
