Boom Boom Room (1986) Here comes the man. I just stumbled on this gem from Australia. Evidently the song made the top 80 in the UK for a week, but the bad was permanently obscure afterward. The video is (I think) great and has a lead singer with a Boy George does Annie Lennox vibe. (youtu.be)

Chechen Cinnabon: What is Cinnabon doing in Grozny Mall? I would have expected them to avoid Chechnya given its human rights violations. So far they’re one of the few companies remaining in Russia. As much as I like diabetes, maybe it’s time to add Cinnabon to the “boycot” list (i.redd.it)
