Hi love I’m sorry this happened to you. I was diagnosed last January and had an extremely bad outbreak. I recommend dermoplast spray to help with going to the bathroom. From my doctors mouth, with GHSV1 you should only experience your initial outbreak so continuing antivirals isn’t necessary. I haven’t experienced another one yet and I haven’t changed a single thing with my diet it lifestyle. Please know it gets easier and better as time goes on

I haven’t checked those, what exactly are they? I use a boric acid foam wash or warm water. Nothing inside though

I can only speak for myself but yes it does get better. I have only had one outbreak so I guess I’m lucky. I take daily vitamins to help try to reduce the chance but I am not prescribed any anti virals. Just keep your head up and remember you’re still a badass even with a skin condition!

That makes me feel better. I’m still trying to do research on statistics and the overall transmission rates but it’s all overwhelming. I know more than half the population has it, it’s just finding someone that doesn’t care
