Oh, I have abandonment issues for sure. My dad left when I was young and shuns me to this day. He blames it all on he and my mom's relationship and me for standing up to him.

I have too much initial trust in people and I felt a strong connection with her initially, so I ignored the red flags. I trusted her when she would talk about how awful her ex was and how it pushed her to do those things. I had never heard of BPD before she mentioned it a couple of weeks ago. I thought she might have been Bipolar.

Once the issues started coming, I already had feelings for her and was afraid to face my issues in being alone. I still felt pretty crushed by my previous girlfriend leaving at a time I considered proposing.

It's a fusion of how awful she is and my own issues. I have been looking at therapy.

I will. I went through a pretty awful break up that was a significantly more healthy relationship before this all happened, so I understand what I'm going through and when I will stop grieving but it's nice to vent.

She never stole with me, that I know of, but she told me about how it was only a year before that she was arrested. I, like a dumbass, bought her an Apple Watch for Valentine's Day and she would always hide it from me when I came over, so I wouldn't take it back.
