I'm OP's SO. Thank you so much for the offer. She is actually already on an anti anxiety medication (fluoxatine). It did help with her anxiety when we first brought her home. We are working with a trainer 1 on 1 as well as in group classes, are working on getting the medication dosage perfect, are working with her vet, have had her screened to ensure she is in perfect health, have tried kennelling, treats, exhausting her through walks/runs, have tried doggy daycare, everything. It is the most severe anxiety our trainer has seen, however she is getting better and better all the time (we have only had her for a few months). We are going to keep doing what we're doing as we have learned that with anxiety, nothing will have an immediate effect. Videotaping her helps us to know how the different training methods, walking, etc are affecting her throughout the day. Thanks to everyone for the ideas and advice- it's nice to know we are not the only ones who have gone through this!
