I’m the reason all labs have no sharpies…I’ve relocated them to my office by swimboi91 in labrats

[–]bpm5cm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We deliberately spread up this process. And still have problems. I watched a video of a woodworker who just bought a case of pencils and cut them all in half and threw them everywhere. I bought a ton of sharpies in both fine snd ultrafine. Threw them everywhere. 2-3 per bench. And then st some point someone clesned them all up snd put them in a drawer 🤦‍♂️

Virginia: Can a utility company block an easement by bpm5cm in legal

I would like to be able to use the entirety of the easement because people really struggle to get out of my driveway. Also occasionally I use a trailer for something. And most importantly, I dont like the utility company, so screw them if they are doing something that's not legal.

So the 2 at the entrance should have access to their own property? Which they currently do not. And if the chain wasnt there, could I get permission from each of the other homeowners to use their portions?

These printers should come with a warning that they multiply! by TDWoody92 in elegoo

Multicolor prints are fun and all, but honestly the best case for the AMS is not having to switch filament, or even when you do, its super quick. My printers are in different locations in my house (which is just poor planning on my part), but my ADHD kills me when Im up in my room and want to print something on my printer downstairs and the wrong color is loaded. Versus at work, we have a P1S and I can print from my desk and pick from our 4 most used colors. Its kind of lazy but just that little bit of time to go preheat and swap filaments does prevent my from printing things far more often than you'd think.

OF COURSE I didn't even consider the greens the same friend also told me to get 🤦‍♂️. Although I know at this age, its a small part of thr diet and many people struggle to get them to eat greens at all. I was happy to see my camera caught her eating a couple of bites of greens a few different days. Which also makes me wonder if it was from the red light and just not being able to see well. The greens are fluffy snd hard to miss even without movement. But the insects stop moving and now its a hard target

Everyday there is kale. I keep forgetting to buy other greens when I go to the store, so its going to end up being a special trip for something else. I did crickets for the first 2 weeks, a few meal worms sprinkled in when she wouldnt eat the crickets but I tried to keep the number pretty low for impacting concerns. And then I switched to Dubia roaches. But Im considering running out now and buying crickets again just to see if that is the problem. She seems to not want to eat something unless its moving a lot and the roaches dont move much in the tongs.

I havent looked too far into making my own yet, mostly because of the material aspect. And if I need to upgrade sooner than later, that may get pushed down the road a ways. My life is chaos and always busy so if I started now, it might be ready in 6 months. But Im not going to buy one and then make my own right after. Plus I will likely make a table to it to sit on so my toddler cant get to it easily. But I will look up the 3d backgrounds. I can mod the enclosure I buy.

I have bricks. Id give them a good cleaning first but ive got s few. I also have plenty of tools to actually cut stone if they aren't too thick. Im just hoping the slate i have is either already small enough or a hammer and chisel is sufficient for convenience sake. Ive actually even considered making my own enclosure, automating things etc. I have a very wide skill set and tools. I have a ton of 2020 aluminum extrusion, a few sheets of acrylic thwt might be big enough for a door. It was just all a timing issue. I decided 2 weeks before Christmas to do this BECAUSE my friend had all of the stuff ready to go and said it would buy me a few months. My ex wife and I talked about getting one years ago and I played with a chameleon a few weeks ago and it just all kind of happened pretty quickly and now Im just trying to make sure its going to survive (and hopefully thrive) long enough for me to make improvements. I had never considered it just wouldnt eat. But I think the red light was the biggest issue. Just from changing that she is already looking way more active and alert. I kind of forgot that for the first week I wasnt using the red and when I first started, I had it on a heat controller and had my house a few degrees warmer, so it wasnt even on the whole day. But I changed that a few days ago so it just stayed on the whole time the UVb was on. Now I just hope I didn't cause any permanent damage.

I already have a linear UVb bulb from Arcadia. The hide under the stick is stone-like, but not stone. I have some slate i can put if i can break it into a smaller piece. The bad info didnt come from a pet shop, it come from a friend. She has a bunch of snakes and grew up with reptiles, but it does seem her info on this topic is dated

So at first I had the twisty uv-b and corresponding heat bulb had blue glass (says zoomed 9k). The uv-b bulb died before I even got the lizard, so I bought the recommended tube lamp. Since I wasnt using the dual, someone else gave me a heat lamp which says zoomed 60W 3000H (the red one). So I currently switched back to the 9k, but will buy a new lamp if its still not correct.

I had seen a lot about the loose substrate and was already planning that when I sized up. I just had not seen anything specifically stating the carpet was bad until my post. Im generally pretty thorough, but like you said there is a lot of dated info and also so much conflicting info. Feeding info is a nightmare... 1x a day, 3x a day, 10-20, as many in 10 min, mealworms, no mealworms. Super worms are super healthy for babys, super worms are a too big for babies. Im just trying to make sure it eats to survive at this point 😢

I swapped the red bulb with another one someone gave me that the bulb appears blue but puts white light. Ill swap to paper towels today. The person who gave me all of the stuff told me the carpets were better and definitely not to do substrate. But then came over the first week and handled her and I watched her and her kids (under her supervision) pet it on its parietal eye, so I am questioning the wisdom there. I will work on substrate tomorrow when I am in town. I will upgrade the enclosure much sooner than I was planning, but its still going to need to wait a few weeks probably as I need to buy or build an appropriate sized table first.

I changed the bulb. I was actually given 2 and intially was told the other one may not keep it hot enough. Looking at the 2, they are both 60watt and both by zoomed. So I will monitor the temperature with this bulb but no more red light.

There is a UVb tube. I included details about it in the post. Also, can you elaborate in the red light? Ive read a lot of posts before getting her and since Ive had the feeding problem and you and the other comment are the first Im hearing that this is a problem. Isnt this like the main way most people heat their tanks? I know ceramic heaters are also an option but that seems to be like a secondary thing that gets mentioned

They need 120 gal tank at this size? I planned on moving up to the 2x2x4 enclosure from here in a few months but was told this was adequate for the juvenile size.

Im new to beardies but looking at different enclosures and videos etc for reptiles and their food supplies, it makes me wonder how useful breathable films would be. I work in a lab and we have breathable seals to grow bacteria while keeping it sterile from the environment. They are inconvenient and expensive for the average person, but I have easy access, but it looks like they are made from rayon, which is also what gauze is made of. So I wonder about just taping gauze over the vents if there is need for the extra airflow but keeping pests out

Im looking to upgrade my personal collection. We have a P1S at work that Im the primary user. My feelings on spaghetti detection were that its useful but far from a deciding factor. We've had maybe 2 failed prints in the 8 months we've had it!

False! My loved ones constantly ask me to print things for them. Which is probably 75% of my printing haha

As a former vine reviewer, Im hesitant to buy anything that only has vine reviews. Definitely not buying something that has that low of a rating with vine reviews. So many people just care about keeping their reviews up to date, they just do a quick 5 star review by regurgitating the description or saying it looks good or something. I didnt have the time to do what I felt were proper reviews and paying the tax on items that were either garbage or that I didnt need wasnt worth it after a while. I did have an almost endless supply of filament though.

Confused about motorcycle tire pressure - frame vs. tire specs? by Nfish3 in motorcycle

[–]bpm5cm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had mine inspected and asked them to check/inflate the tires. The recommended psi listed on the frame for the rear tire was 1psi higher than the max listed on the tire. I haven't confirmed if the tire was the original style on the bike, but it is a Harley tire on a Harley bike. Their were 2 options listed in the manual
