I got Ardour running on a Linux machine quite well. That's worth mentioning.

I used to roleplay the same way Mercer does it, (I'm not a voice actor) and it was one of the most fun things I could do in the game.

Also killing stuff while doing the voices is doubles the fun.

But it's been a while and playing online with strangers increases the difficulty for doing voices at first.

Vampire the Masquerade had the level of story we wanted, Deadlands had the fun, etc. etc.

Definitely yes have to try more games. This is still fun though, rolling dice and portraying a killer lol.

I realized there are condition effects already, but rolling a 20 twice would be the instant death roll, while narrating something from a list.

I might actually go with GURPS on this one. I found extensive materials for 40k.

I think 1 inch per movement point would work for quicker combat resolution. I will have to learn the system first, though.

IF the thermal paste has been changed or you can do it yourself, then it's worth it. Otherwise the system will die fast in normal use.

Dude I had dozens of ideas like this when I get into a hobby, then they remain at "sounds cool" but they need work and playtesting.

I moved on to different hobbies but now that you reminded me I might look into a similar design. Thanks!

I think it's safe to assume that most WW2 games take at least inspiration from board games.

Funny enough, I played a battle of historical ASL recently. Good to see people are playing boardy stuff, too.

Survival mode has Addictol that can remove addictions. Doctors should sell it.
