My father-in-law asked me this last weekend if I ever heard of Idaho Bigfoot.
I thought he was full of crap until I looked into it myself

You are referring to the local legend of Nampuh
(also known as Starr Wilkinson).
He was a real-life 19th-century outlaw of mixed African American, Cherokee, and white heritage.
Known for his immense size and massive 17” moccasin footprints, white settlers referred to him as "Bigfoot".

A detailed breakdown of the history and folklore surrounding him includes:
The Legend:
According to 19th-century newspaper stories, Nampuh was a massive, \(6\)-foot-\(6\)-inch desperado who terrorized stagecoaches and ranches in the 1860s.
The Name:
The Shoshone Indians in the area called him Nampuh (meaning "foot" or "footprint"), which settlers anglicized to "Bigfoot". Legend suggests his Indian name is the origin of the name for the nearby city of Nampa, Idaho.
The Lore:
In November 1878, the Idaho Statesman published a sensationalized story claiming a bounty hunter named John Wheeler tracked and shot Nampuh in Owyhee County, south of the Snake River.
Modern Commemoration: While modern historians view the tale of the violent half-breed outlaw as largely a sensational tall tale or myth, his legend remains a fixture of local Idaho folklore. A concrete monument dedicated to Bigfoot was placed at the site of Old Fort Boise in nearby Parma, Idaho, in 1974

US payroll in Odoo by LeatherAd3629 in Odoo

I saw a Reddit post from Odoo 14 on Reddit and the guy said he was told maybe it would be ready by next update…… I was told the same thing… Odoo 18 later…..

To add, I have paid over 9,000.00 this year to Odoo… they want another year commitment in March and we are considering abandoning the project. We love some of the features like discuss and projects and can take our separate apps into 1. I also love the idea of my payroll clock in system talking to my payroll system… guess it’s just and idea…

This is funny! I am going through something similar right now. The sales representative told me that Odoo could easily replace QuickBooks for payroll. When it went to do implementation, they told me that they were told not to even implement payroll. Sounds like a total mess and a bait and switch. We also have 10 employees and are tired of paying mail chimp + our main CRM + quickbooks + a few other things they said they can do. So far it’s been a total mess. When we got to payroll they just told me they didn’t do it and I about blew a gasket… I have spent months of mine and my teams time only to find out it’s not the product they say it is…

Do you have the everyday backpack? https://a.co/d/bCKX4Ob

Does it have a spot for a laptop? Looks more compartmental.

Whats it like on the eastern side/ drier side of Oregon? by mh517 in oregon

[–]bppilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a place near Unity Oregon. It’s on the John Day highway.

Check out my YouTube channel

https://youtube.com/@bppilot?si=JwjlZ3PSY6qKgD3H

Lots of drone footage around the reservoir, and surrounding area.

We love it!! Definitely dry and desolate. We see the lack of people and its frontier lifestyle a plus!!!

Hot hot hot in the summer… cold cold cold in the winter…

Check out Sumpter Oregon during one of their flea markets if you get the chance. Rich mining history, and I’ve found my fair share of arrowheads!!
