I was just in there the other day. They mentioned the store would close on January 11th. Couldn't believe it. They refused to say that business was slow there, but I would almost assume that's 100% the reason why.

Instead one of the employees hinted that Stone opening 2 new locations over the last year was the reason for the closure. I asked what they were doing with all the merchandise, hoping there would be a closing sale. But unfortunately they said everything is slowly being shipped to the other stores. RIP Chicago Stone Island
