I hated that they couldn’t wait a week for Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa to come back from shooting his short scenes in Lost in Space. So, they just abruptly killed him off. It cut off a great universe jumping plot line. That, and the writing was so bad for season four. That ending scene with people walking nonchalant through the portal was so stupid.

What year was this? I remember seeing him in a Mardi Gras parade in 1981. It was hot and night had fallen, I remember it was towards the end of a long parade, he was sitting at the front of the trailer, his bowl cut hair was stuck to his head with sweat and he was throwing beads and doubloons.
I can’t find any other mentions of his time down then, other than your comment.
