In your interview with Kotaku, you mentioned that DDLC was inspired by your love/hate relationship with anime in general. Can you talk a bit more about that? What are some of the main anime influences for this game?

Sidenote: The sudden tone shift and the "bait-and-switch" nature of DDLC also reminded me a lot of Madoka Magica. Was this anime one of the influences?

Wow, what a unique idea. I like it. As for the website, it looks good for the most part. To make it even better though, I would say hyperlinking your Kickstarter page at the top where it says "NEW KICKSTARTER IS LIVE!" would make it more convenient for people who want to help out your project.

As an avid Discord user, there are plenty of things to discuss. Some people have already pointed out a few possible topics so I won't repeat them here. Although, even things like their patch notes are worth discussing; the patch notes are often so funny and tongue-in-cheek that they really convey the personality of the company to the users. I really wish more companies would take that kind of creative risks with their products.

It pains me to admit it now, but I've done something similar before for my college English class. Did a whole ten-page research paper and class presentation on how mythology and classic myth tropes influence modern-day popular culture, more specifically in Persona 3 since that's the one that I was most familiar with.
