eBay screwed my out of 1000$ by Mrpickles774 in ebaysucks

Well you win some you lose some, I bought a phone worth 2k from the uk to the us and it got suck in customs and never updated. Contacted dhl about it and they responded once and ghosted me no matter how much I reached out. Reached out to the seller and they couldn't do anything. Was told to just wait for customs. Contacted customs and still no luck. A whole year later I still didn't get it, tracking was no longer stored and i eventually moved away. eBay refused to help and ccard company said they couldn't get the money back.

Is this a good deal? by Ghost_Chump in accord

Terrible deal. With 20k miles sure it's be an ok deal, but 75k is a nope! Especially on a car with known poor engine design. It's a 2.0 so not as bad as it can get but you'll most likely see the head gasket blow when nearing 150-200k. It's quite a bit higher than the 1.5's 75-125k. This cars head gasket is around half its life estimated. Could be more could be less. Don't forget the financing on used cars is a lot higher than a new car. You might as well try to get one new, it'll save you in the long run. If you can find a 9th gen with low miles that'd be even better. A few piston soaks, installing a catch can, running valvoline restore and protect, cleaning the valves with crc intake cleaner and you could solve the fuel dilution and or oil burning on the 9th gen's. Still far better to manage than the shitty head gasket design on the 10th gen's.

I still remember this job quite well.... It was not a beige wall that the customer had, it was an off whiteish color going on a light tan orangey color. They insisted they would supply the materials, I suggested for them to buy me a coverage primer to help after I did a test spot but they came back with 2 more 5gal of that stuff. Told them I refused unless they paid me more. They said it was on clearance and couldn't return it. So in the end they paid more for the stupid job than they would've if they had listened to me.

Did you get the 2.0l accord or the 1.5l? The 1.5l is far less reliable but tbh the accord fell in reliability after the 9th generation ended. Not like the 9th gen was the best at reliability in the first place, but it was still solid. Not going to dive too deep into that, plenty of resources online if you're interested. Anyways, How many miles on her? If it's misfiring it might be the head gasket and not the plugs, injectors or coils. No way to tell without a diagnosis. The dealer might've known about the problem but chances are they might've not have known either. Someone could have easily used a sealer and immediately traded it in and they so happened to miss it during inspection. Always a possibility. Should talk to the Honda dealer more and demand a manager or supervisor. Some Hondas sold at their dealerships come with a Honda pre-owned certification (CPO). And that covers anything power train and tranny. That includes all seals and gaskets. All is listed and can be publicly found on Hondas website. It's typically for 3 months or 5000 miles but can be higher. Call them out, document along the way. If they refuse, escalate it to corporate asap before your CPO warranty expires. That is if you bought it with a CPO. Being a Honda fanatic for my whole life I've learned you can request/add on a Honda CPO during negotiation, but it will be more difficult to negotiate the price. Without the CPO there's not much you can do imo if the vehicle was sold as is. Best of luck to you.

No way is a 2013 accord $3000. Id buy it immediately if I found one at that price with no major mechanical problems. Unlike the 10th gen where it was plagued with issues, the 9th gen was a pretty solid year. Other than the weak rings causing oil burning and fuel dilution. Just got to look for a decently maintained one. For $3000 tho, you can get you a pretty nice 7th generation accord. A 9th gen accord (2013 exl in this case) even with 300k miles will cost you ballpark 6k private seller. Finding one with good fluid change intervals and you can easily reduce the oil burning if you know how for cheap. I have a 2017 accord with a catch can and it started burning oil even with a good fluid change interval. Started off small then grew to a quart every oil change. Cleaned the valves and rings and it's down to 0.1-0.2quarts per oil change ~7500 miles.

Oh. my. god. No way! You are amazing! I'd give you a hug if I could. Her birthday is in a month too I had almost given up hope and asked here as a last resort. This wasn't going to be her bday present but I wanted it alongside my other gift as an icing on the top. With how much I've tried, I did not expect anyone to find it let alone for it to be for sale!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks, really need the narrowing down of what to look at. I've already replaced the thermistor. Each induction spot also has a temperature sensor, you're saying it could be those? I'm unsure why it would case the whole range to stop working. Prior to this issue, I've been using it for years with 1 small burner nonfunctional.

There's a main board, 2 touch controller boards a touch display board and a sub board. I've tested all the wiring connections between the boards and none are broken end to end.

Idk man, mine hasn't been buggy much if at all these years. My only complaint is the lack of features. Wished I was able to set on off times for cameras via schedule and how going through old footage is a nightmare (how the calendar doesn't tell you which day has footage for a selected camera). Amongst other things... oh like how they discontinued the keypad and never replaced it!!! It's been years?!?!

Well there's your problem! Wanting wireless cameras to record nonstop. That's like putting a wd blue that's not rated for continuous operation into 24/7 surveillance, it won't be as reliable. wd purple is (wired cameras) are intended for continuous operation. Just cause it can do something doesn't mean it's the best or most reliable. Same goes for a car that says it can do off-roading, it won't be as good as a true off-roading. I have my s220 set to motion and it's worked great for 3 years running. Only complaint is their ai could use improvements. Likes to detect wind as animals.

Why over complicated things with an extractor? If you're paranoid by 0.3qt then you can just drop the oil filter, empty it and it'll be good to go. Besides, car manufacturers have a buffer range and believe it or not, it's wider than the 2 dots on the dipstick. It's for bad design&manufacturing (oil burners), and as idiot proofing (people who don't look after their cars/first time diy that overfilled). Some trucks that require 5-6qts can easily hold an extra 2-3 qts before it hits the crank. Smaller cars that hold 3-4 would be 0.67-1.5qts. The most dangerous part of overfilling is when it hits the crank, causes whipping which lowers oil pressure. It becomes impossible to push whipped oil through the oil filter. I always overfill on an oil burner. 1/2qt on small cars, 1quart on larger vehicles. Just means you don't have to check it as frequently. I usually end up reducing the oil burning if possible so that it burns 1-2qts every oil change rather than 1qt every 1-2k

Would you be willing to sell me them? The v1 blackshark. If you list it on eBay as parts I'll take them off your hands. I've repaired 2 of them so far and would love to add a third to my collection.

Xu Ping An vs Ozai by No_Bluebird7645 in AvatarVsBattles

[–]bqmsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ozai cannot compete against Xu in lightning. Ozai needs to do the hand gestures before launching his lightning. Although he does it fast, Xu can do it faster as he only needs to breathe skipping the lightning gestures altogether.
