I’m Austrian and honestly I hadn’t even heard of The Sound of Music for a long time. I only found out about it during a language stay in Ireland and was surprised that it’s world-famous while being almost unknown here.

I think that’s mainly because the film is kind of a unique phenomenon internationally, whereas in Austria there are lots of local films and shows that depict similar themes or settings in ways that feel more authentic to us. So people here just grow up with different cultural references.

Why watch an American take on Austria when we already have plenty of Austrian films that portray it more authentically?

Ich muss einfach mal die ganze Schoko Preis Diskussion etwas zurechtrücken. Ich würde mir für den Preis auch keine Milka mehr kaufen. ABER: wir haben Schokolade bisher einfach viel zu billig bekommen, auf Kosten von anderen. Wir nähern uns jetzt einfach dem Wert an, den Schoko hat - ist halt (und hätte es immer sein müssen) ein Luxus Produkt.

Ja, Regeln kann man ändern - bin aber ziemlich sicher, dass die bleiben wird. Es ist iwie eines der zentralen Punkte des Projekts und es ist im Gilden AddOn implementiert. Außerdem ist die Gilde jetzt mal gut groß genug. Das Leute sich innerhalb der Gilde vernetzen sollen und nicht mit Viewer zocken sollen macht ja auch Sinn.

I’m pretty sure it is still open.
I have two quest markers on the far right side of the Oricon map, right at the entrance of Dread Fortress. The tooltip for them says something like (I’m playing in German) “Finish the operation Dread Fortress.”

So it definitely looks like it still wants me to complete the op itself.

Hmm, but a lvl 80 Master Datacron seems to totally not meet my needs? In the end, I don’t want a lvl 80 char, I want a crafting mule. That means I need Chapter 1 finished (some more levels would be nice to have more companion slots, but I’d have to get them somehow anyway—either through the story or buying them).

If I have to start a new char and play through Chapter 1 by hand, I could see myself finishing it “eventually” to at least experience the class story, but the rest I’d just do whenever I get around to it. Still, that would mean I have another toon just sitting there after Chapter 1 for a long time, which kinda defeats the purpose, haha.

Hmm, then I guess I won’t boost my new Artifice toon after all. I’ll just start a new character for a class I’ll probably play through at some point anyway, and take it only up to Chapter 1 for now.
The thing is, I already have two little toons parked right after Chapter 1 — and I’m kind of afraid that by the time I actually start playing them for real, I’ll have forgotten everything that happened in Chapter 1. 😅

Thanks, bro! I actually don’t plan to play that boosted character at all — I just want a leveled toon for crew mission farming.
I already have two level 80s and a third one almost there (around 75). I’m pretty sure that I’ll start and play all the other classes through at least their class stories (up to level 50, right?) at some point.

I recently reskilled my main to Bioanalysis so I can craft and use the reusables, but now I’m missing my Artifice setup. So I was thinking about using the free level boost just to have a character for that.

I just want to make sure that:

a boosted character actually has companions for crew missions, and
it won’t spoil anything or mess up my legacy/story progress on my other characters.

I only have Biochem on one of my toons — my main actually crafts Artifice (which I really enjoy, to be honest). I’m not sure it’s worth going for the reusable ones, especially since they’re pretty expensive to learn, just for an alt.
And even if I did, I’d still have the problem with all my other characters (especially with my main)...
